Ignatieff is merely a mouthpiece who complains about Harper at any given moment. The UN didn't WANT Canada. The one's who got the seats, just think about why they would, for a second. I'm glad Harper sticks to his guns and doesn't oppose Israel like everyone else does, and the UN is well aware of that fact. Besides, Ignatieff has been quoted as saying Canada didn't deserve a seat, so why go on like an idiot? Oh yeah, he is one. And not all Canadians are sad about not getting a seat.

I read some International media that pointed out the lack of "peace keeping", blind support for Israel, not fighting for Omar Kadr, no funding in Africa, "combat" missions in Afghanistan, the UAE situation, lack of rights during G20 etc,etc, etc. We have lost a lot of support, in rapid fashion.

Don't get me wrong, I am a proud Canadian...But this is not my Canada.

I find this to be an outrage to all Canadians. Not only has the United States opted to stay indifferent towards Canada's vi for a seat on the UN security council, they blatantly argued against it. How much longer will we Canadians allow the U.S to slap us in public and face no backlash? I say we should boycott the U.S and discontinue all trade relations with them forthwith.
