@reklamedamereloaded This event attracted 140,000 people in a major world city in a world-class athletic competition and cultural showcase. In the American media, there was no coverage, outside of the gay press. I had to search for news on it. It shows a cultural and religious bias that continues to isolate an entire segment of the population based on nothing more than prejudice.
@carrotjuse True - it's really sad! I work as a journalist for a major TV Station in Germany and I work for the online-department - Everytime I had the opportunity to get the Gay Games on our websides - I did! But unfortunately not everyone works this way. :-(
