After owning "The Phantom Tollbooth" on film for over 10 years and loving this song, I suddenly realized that if this is playing the right speed, the tempo of this song about time perfectly matches a clock ticking seconds. Not close, but right on the button from start to finish. If you have a quartz wall clock that you can hear ticking the seconds try matching it up. It works. It's a little bonus the musical director must have worked to accomplish. I wonder if it's ever been noticed before.
