Hope i never have the misfortune of reading one of your articles. You are obviously a very lazy journo with your own agenda. From abacab genesis(imo)became bland popsters. I happened upon wilson about 3 years ago by mistake. Since then i have listened to CAS and seen wilson several times and there is no question genesis would have become better with wilson. Nothing against phil,went to the reunion gigs last year and he is a great showman but not a patch on wilson as a vocalist.

obviously that is a joke. that's why they never made another album again until ray brought the name back. he wanted to use the name cos it was the most popular thing he was associated with besides genesis ofcourse.

ray did a fine job here. good song. could've been a huge radio hit in the US....stupid record companies! and for the record, ray wasn't thrown out of stiltskjin, they stopped over money. and a 2nd album with ray would've been killer! and to name a band that got better when a new singer joined an established band......van halen. hagar took over for roth and they had their fisrt #1 album with him.

My guitar teacher was the bass palyer in Stiltskin, he said that the band split because Wilson kept taking eveyone's food.

Apparently one night when they were recording in Glasgow, four curries were ordered one for each member. Ray Wilson let the delivery guy in because the others were busy recording.

When they got into the studio kitchen Ray Wilson had eaten

eveybodys curry. The drummer left there and then as he was sick of Wilson taking his food. The other two never trusted Wilson again.

metalz1337, they are not famous, you are getting confused with the Stiltskin from the nineties that done the song 'inside', what we are watching here is the original singer of Stiltskin who actually had nothing to do with the real Stiltskin, he just sang the songs they wrote, then they dumped him. What he is now doing is trading under the same name with his really bad songs and trying to pretend to people that this is the big number one band from the nineties, its all bullshit like this song!

Check out some of the clubs down the cowgate and up to the highstreet. Don't concern yourself with the Evening News, they tell you one week a new club is opening up for music before the club even has a licence, then it never materailzes. Its a quick fix paper that will print anything...Nobby Clark 'new album',...Ray Wilson 'ROCK STAR', Tam White blah,blah, blah...then nothing!. We want results not bullshit and Edinburgh runs on bullshite!.

Genesis did make a big mistake by not keeping Ray in the Band.

It wasn't that Genesis didn't realize it,it was more that he was unfairly put into a lose-lose situation. I love Genesis, Peter and Phil, but I didn't like Ray in the band. NOT Rays' fault. Tony and Mike's fault.You can't fill those shoes. Too hard to do. You introduce this wonderful musician on his own merits and I am sold. Love his sound. I'm thankful he found his own sound.
