  • Candice night eh uma delicia....saudações do Brasil.

  • where this concert took place??

  • People, hurry to hear them alive.

  • Привет Риччи !!!

  • Голос - колокольчик !

  • Вы в меня всегда вселяете жизни кусок. Спасибо !!!

  • Of course it's playback you mongs, listen to the accordion in the intro. See anyone with an accordion on stage? Or anyone playing any kind of drum? Or any kind of mic or pickup on the acoustic instruments Ritchie and the other guy are playing? Or the bits where there's three harmony parts and only two girls with mics? Fuck's sake!

  • she plays a mean fife!

  • It's playback!

    No it's not! It's Live!

    It is not!

    It is too!

    no it isn't!

    YES it IS!

    Not so!

    IS so!

Shut the fuck up or go away!

  • @technocrash09 Yes it is. Compare it with original recording - music is identical. However here in video are people who are clapping and she sings along with playback and sometimes she changes tune a little.

  • @J0EH3AD If you read between the lines of my post, the point is..........I like the song and don't care whether it is, or isn't-----or is------or isn't!

    Who the fuck cares???

  • @J0EH3AD The song starts before she puts the mic to her mouth, so yes, it's lip synching.

  • This is what happens when your pussy whipped! Blackmore needs to knock this crap off!

  • @Passrbra Forever alone.. -.-

  • @Passrbra Noob?

  • @Passrbra Noob?

  • I like muffins :D

  • hey even "The Hoff" wants to represent the Netherlands with the Eurovision song contest this year... Well lower than last we cannot end up. Grin.. So please Blackmore's Night come bring the Netherlands the victory!

  • Candice is the Queen, no doubt, but the girl with the flute is also very cute!

  • Home again + 2 or more hours of doctor Who = great dream!

  • does the announcer have a mole the size of a golf ball or is that just a mic?

also love the band and their songs

  • It's me or they are mk1 deep purple? I love love what RB is doing of himself and I hope he and Candice have some worthy kids.

The older Blackmore is really good with guitar and I think still goes on on Rainbow fame.

  • Clearly lip-synced

  • @HNewton48 My thoughts exactly.

  • what does this guy look like....what a complete and utter load of fucking bollocks....

  • My family/extended family has a family reunion every year and I have to play this every time. It isn't the same without the song to kick it off.

  • real dark age feeling over this song! greetings from sweden! sounds like im in a dark london in the 18th century

  • great music,, amazes me at the narrow mindness of people. Yes This is not Deep Purple or rainbow, So what. Good music is good music

  • She made a joke once about Ritchie being in ABBA before. Well, this sure sounds like an ABBA song. lol

But hey, she's so darned easy on the eyes and ears...why not. It's nice to see a woman who's not in her bathing suit on stage singing.

  • ¡¡Blackmore is GOD!!

  • Tavataan syyskuussa 2011 Finlandiatalolla Helsingissä. Eräs hienoimmista ulkomaisista bändeistä jota 60+ diggaa.

  • he needs a strat

  • I think that they act the sound recording here, although the song is great

  • Does anyone know the name of the guitar which Ritchie is playing??

  • @AllofMetal In portuguese it's called "Alaúde".

  • Comment removed

  • Haven't been home for a while now, I really miss that place...

  • Bloody hell - looks like an Andre Rieu audience.

  • ilove...lovely song and video..thanks friend

  • most beautiful Song I have ever heard!-Great Band and Singers!

  • Amazing song, love this sound.

  • Where the hell was this? Spring break?

  • Мандолина?

  • It's so obvious that this is lip-synched. They could have at least gotten a girl who could actually play the recorder and do well at pretending that she was playing it.

  • @Chikin1ninjas What a cynic... A cynic is someone who sits on the sidelines watching an epic battle and when its over comes down a shoots all the survivors.

  • @Chikin1ninjas Fuck you!

  • lol @ the old people clapping, not knowing richie was a bad ass in DP

  • It's not bad, but Ritchie is kind of wasted playing the lute in a folk band. Take a look at him with the Purple Mark II and this will sound like heresy, IMHO.

And anyway, yes, she's hot and this could ALMOST explain everything.

  • I"ve heard this song for about two years ago and I never get tired of listening it. I like the Blackmores very much.

  • haha ritchie blackmore looks like robin hood

  • @DEADNIGHTWARRIOR93 haha! ...look what he's going home with!

  • what sort of flute is that the babe plays? a recorder?

  • what sort of flute is that the babe plays? A recorder?

  • boring and pointless i mite add.

  • Magical atmosphere. The Blackmore's Night songs reminds me Lorena Mckennit on rock ballad. lol. Ritchie has luck to have this woman...

  • so Beautiful *-*

  • Do you see what a hot chick can reduce a man to?

  • women. stay away from them.

  • Bad miming @ 1.20

  • I LOVE THIS GROUP!

  • i totally agree with tacosalad

  • Love from Spainn!!!

  • BLACMORE'S TARJA

    Ritchie, try this,

    even is Tarja less commercial

  • It's amazing how they're so popular in Europe as English is not the de facto language in some countries except England. How did they become so popular in Germany, France, and other non English places. Would love to see them in USA.

  • @whataname01 Surprisingly, in Europe English is almost everyon's second language. When a Swede, a German, and an Italian meet each other, the only language they all have in common is English. That's why so many excellent European bands like Within Temptation, Nightwish, and many others all write and perform their songs in English. That's the only way they can sell their records all over Europe instead of in just one country.

  • @MrErdner

except Rammstein, who sings in German and sells many albums across the world.

  • Great voice, music, instrument, people... what else can you ask for ;D PERFECTO!

  • For God's sake, screw Lord Lloyd Webber, beg Blackmore and Night to write UK's next Eurovision entry. I mean this positively, honestly I do.

  • @Idler1963 Yes, they shoul compete for UK in Eurovision, and win !

  • @Idler1963 eurovision sux , always crappy artists there , and they only vote for which country they like ,

  • Певичка никакая. А у Ричи крышка съехала. Надо думать от любви. Такое бывает.

  • It is playback as there are no percussive instruments but most telling is at the very start when the singing starts before the mic gets to her mouth. But... whatever it's a good song

  • @Chris51 Who the fuck gives a shit you cock..

  • @stelvans - you are such a beautiful person now go out side and finish chewing on your bone

  • @Chris51 Chris I may be a beautiful person. I am also realistic and dislike you immediatley for your pointless, silly negative comment about playback. You talk like you are a superior being, when Im sure you are just a bored, negative little man..

  • @stelvans - interesting that your response to my comment re-playback should illicite such a reply. It in itself was unnecessary. It was merely an observation. Your comment "Who the fuck gives a shit you cock.." was uneducated and retarded. It's a shame that there is no cure for stupidity otherwise you would then be fit to breed. Now shut up and go boil your head. If manure were music, you'd be a brass band.

  • @Chris51 Ok fella Im sure your are a nice guy, we will agree to differ.

My first comment was OTT no offence xx

  • I thought this was playback at first too, but I've heard the studio version, and it sounds totally different.

  • I cant wait for them to come back to the USA so I can go see them... I missed them last time and those I know that went to see them said the what you see on the vidoe is what you are getting something that is AWESOME

  • Freaking amazing, whatever anybody says. Ritchie is the luckiest man in the world, a legend on guitar, married to the love of his life traveling round the world. He's the man, she's the Goddess.

  • I love Blackmore's night and this song and its companions have inspired some fun writing, but I am disappointed that this performance was played back. The instrumentation is all wrong. Where's the accordion, the mandolin, the organ, the drums? I can't hear those two women singing. Where are the flubbed notes of the recorder (whose player doesn't know where the sound comes from)? Why are the acoustics so echoey for an open-air concert?

  • haha ..silly that

  • is this keltic? i cant spell lol but ive heard this somewhere

  • Where was this? this is awesome stuff. :D I know this is not Ireland. lol. to palm-tree-ish for Ireland. Looks like Spain or Italy.

  • richie always sounds great that rhe 1

Richie Blackmor alway sounds great this lady hes with wow i would stop playing metal to she could beet me tret me mean make me right bad checks but come on man richie is a head banger ian and dio are more fit for him

  • what a nice voice she haves

  • must be in Sweden by her accent??? does seem lip sync'd tho

  • there should be a few hobbits dancing around

  • @tacosalad98 Elves and Gnomes would be welcome too... =P

And a lot of Hidromel... *.*

  • @tacosalad98 ahahahaha that's HILAAARIUS

  • @tacosalad98 they're probably hiding in the bushes around her

  • @Docadolf It is amazing what some MEN will do to get a little "action" isn't it?

  • i wish i was there

    huhu

but maybe i'm not born yet this time

    ;)

  • @Docadolf Why listen to music you don't like?? why waste your time??

  • @Docadolf And what would you know? You're obviously so knowledgeable about what's a clown and what's not and what's good music, I'm amazed that he's the famous one with the beautiful wife and amazing guitar skills and you're just a nobody taking it out on him /sarcasm

  • Я тоже из Украины, а точнее из Киева. Очень уважаю творчество данного коллектива!

  • they are so wonderful

  • bravo fantastico

  • when and where was it?

  • Hinrich - some ten years ago, on German TV.

That weekly usually had music aimed at the OAP generation and was mainly crap - getting Candice and Rich was a stroke of genius.

  • thank you pitfossil for your comment

  • This was probably in the late 1990's

  • Or 2000 something. have no clue. Great band...

  • why playback ? :(

  • anyone knows where this is filmed? I simply felt in love with the landscape. Combined with the beauty of the song- MUST SEE THIS DREAMLAND!

  • @horymury Seems to be the "ZDF-Fernsehgarten", a German tv-show for people I would say rather in their late fourties... (We would call it "Vorabendprogramm".) You probably wouldn't like it. ;P Although there are sometimes interesting bands, the playback coordination is mostly horrible. (And I'm very confused to BN there! Oô) And I wonder why I know this because I don't watch ZDF ("Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen")...

  • music for the soul...all blackmoore's Night songs. Love them all!

  • OK, German TV can make anyone look as tacky as garden gnomes - but they can´t dwarf Candice and Rich.

  • Whats so tacky about garden Gnomes? I'm getting one.

  • looove this sing :)

  • i love her you ...that you do not know

  • lol what R U saying! hahaaha. Anyway nice song...

  • MEEE TOOO!

  • i luv black mores night

  • Sure sounds a lot like Mary Hopkin (of "Those Were The Days" fame).

  • I am so glad you said that. I have thought that for years since I first heard this song. I love it tho!

  • RJSchex, "Those were the Days" is the tune of an old Russian folk song. Looks like we are closing ranks agains plastic music.

  • ...this isn't the biscuits

  • Always good to be home again :/ . Makes me sad now that I'm 700 miles away from home cause of damn studying.

  • aussendoerfler, Julia - so make that "unknown to the toothbrace generation"...and if anyone young is about - search for "The Pentangle" if you like music like what´s playing here.

  • they have traditional clothes on... and they are playing traditional music... what else should they have on???

  • Best song on the Fires at Midnight album.

  • Pitfossil called Deep Purple unknown! He must be out of his mind :):)

  • This song really is too catchy for its own good.....>.>...

  • plastic - close your eyes. Imagine sitting around a campfire, or in a castle hall. You´ll immediately feel at home.

  • haha yes I know, i do indeed love this song (mostly for its catchyness xD) but when I first heard it, I imagined this great dance/sing-a-long in the dinning hall at Hogwarts school of wichcraft and wizardry, lol

  • It looks like some folks here need to be given an education in music. Those who say shit about Blackmoer's . Now my mother teaches vocal in musical institute, she can not stand some pop musicians who think they sound nice , but in reality, they can barely carry a 100% clear tune. But this guys were different. You got hear their "Storm", and you will see that half the "Big time pop artists" do not have anything to offer compared to Ritchie and Candice!

  • This guys are fantastic ! Love from Ukraine!

  • You just have to love her sunny smile!!! :))) She is so angelic...

  • It would be nice to have that little cutie blow my pipe like that one. Nevertheless, I think I get it now: Candice sang songs on Disney cartoons. Was she Ariel on The Little Mermaid? I always wondered what those awesome vocalists did in their spare time. Is that what Blackmore's Night is all about?

  • Uh no....she did not sing as Ariel....Blackmore's Night is huge here in Europe, they trancsend this plastic world of hollywood and such and sing from their heart and individuallity....its hard to explain

  • this is greattttt!!!!!

  • tak tato skupina je vážně super a moc dobře zpívaj jsem jejich vyznavačka a kéž by jsem mohla být na každým jejich konceru jsou vážně super a koncert na Sychrově byl skvělí

  • I'm speechless. I have no speech. Nice finding this track again.

  • who r they? her voice is so sweet ^^

  • Blackmore's Night and the vocalist name is Candice Night, yes her voice is sweet. They have been lucky to have each other. i like their music!!

  • Blackmore's Night

  • Who are they? Dude, Ritchie Blackmore was the lead guitarist in the legendary bands Deep Purple and Rainbow. He now does this project as his main element.

  • thank u so much. u know i have never heard them since i saw this video. they r so good. But first i thought it is Nomad's song ;)

  • its ritchie blackmore from deep purple and rainbow, with his wife.

  • thanks a lot. ive never known them till i saw this video ^^

  • @Yen7584 it's Ritchie Blackmore (deep purple) and his wife Candice

  • @Toufilm Thank you :) I had known nothing about them before my friend sent me this song :)

  • seen on labadoux at ingelmunster (BE)

    beautyfull

  • most live live for tv is lip sync doesn't mean they can not play

  • Why the hell is it that every time I watch a clip on youtube there's always someone who tries to prove it's fake or playback or some weird stuff from another dimension.

You feel yourself important that way or what?

Ritchie Blackmore and Candice are one of the last persons on Earth who would need playback to be successful.

And above all, who the hell cares, it's a nice song, try to enjoy it for a moment without flaming :)

  • word

  • @Ewyndall WELL PUT!!!!!!

  • @Ewyndall it's ENVY, my friend! ordinary envy, that's all. The feeling that makes some people want to bite and pollute everything beautiful and talented, because they will never be able to attain it themselves...

  • @Ewyndall Touche

  • @Ewyndall

and even this was playback (you know,in tv its often playback)ritchti is a living legend at the guitar and dont have to prove anything to anyone^^

  • What a fun, delightful song! Gets stuck in your head ...

  • A lot of Blackmore's Night music is good for getting stuck in your head!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!

  • das is doch scheißegal

  • No its obviously not live

  • Its from a TV show

  • I surely tried to go home. I thought I knew where that is...So I will keep on, for when I am "there" I shall know it.

  • is this live? i dont think so...

  • Well It's pretty much obvious that is live...

  • well, i was wondering because in the start (especially from 0:17-0:20) she seems like she is not sychronised with the song, that's all...

  • Actually is not, you can see how the lady with the flute doesnt know how the melodic intervals are in the song, the acoustic instruments dont have any cable or a mic, also you can hear an acordeon there, but I just cant see the guy with it, so no, they are not playing.

  • The microphone is live, guitar is live, drums too, flute is electronic. But the base and the voice, the main elements, are still live music.

  • kranshteun - Rich Blackmore earned his spurs in a very unknown band called "Deep Purple" and I´d love to know how many barbie faces hid behind Candice´s voice. Hearing the two of them live, in Schloss Waldeck (Germany´s first and last bastion of folk music) - get me a ticket.
