Uh North and South Korea are still at war... It is impressive that he knows Korean. I don't think reunification is realistic though because the two countries are at such a different point. One is in the 21st century and the other in the 20th. Sure, NK may have updated computers and cells and cars but their mindset and everything else is very much 20th century. It'd be such a culture shock. I saw a good doc on NK citizens who defect to SK and they have to go through counseling and all that.

This is a very bad idea! As the siutation stands with the DMZ we the US and south korea have it good while the Norht has made life hard for its self. What i mean is there is no way that the north can attack through the DMZ becuase of the mines, walls, wire and so on. However the US and ROK can still attack from the sea and air and with mores of the DPRK's army situated at the DMZ it means they could be cut off quickly and captured. But with this forrest the DPRK would be able to attck with ease!

From my studying of NK and watching all sorts of docs dealing with the country I think the people in general have communist ideals and want the best but they think they have that now but they don't.
