  • I love his voice in this <3

  • Dayum! That boy can belt!

  • I already loved Kurt, but this episode made him my favorite character from Glee. Ever. <3

  • While i was listening to this i felt a strange feeling in my ear, it took me a while but i realized it was an eargasm. ;)

  • I love how at 1:19 it's like his snap into insanity >:)

  • Chris Colfer really sings this song wonderfully--it's one of my favorites so far on the show.

  • OMG... He sounds like a man here!!!

  • This is why I watch Glee. Season 3 needs more Kurt songs! I am so bored and tired of the Santana/ Finn/ Rachael feud. Its their senior year and they need to step up the song picks. I want to see a full on broad way style duet with Chris and Darren!

  • I prefer his voice like this... when he sings "woman" songs, he reaches the notes, but i don't think its beautiful... this one for example is amazing!

  • "And if it wasn't for me, where would you be Ms Rachel Berry?!"

    Pure gold!

  • I really wish that they had recorded him singing the full version of this song. I would kill to hear Chris Colfer doing the "Mama's coming out" part.

  • One of the first times I realized what an exceptional actor Chris is.

    Mm.

  • @gon0etgar dont you mean Shirley todd..?

  • pphhwwwooaarrrrrr..

  • EVERYTHING'S COMING UP KUUUUUUUUURT <3

  • i think his voice sounds nice in this version :) He sounds lovely no matter how he sings :)

  • Chris Colfer!!!!!!!! :D I cheer so much when he sings this because it's back to the real Kurt :)

  • Don't make his voice deeper....please...

  • @MusicalNotes100 IKR? But I guess it's something to do with copyright stuff.... :'(

  • @MusicalNotes100 aww, I like that he can do both. In fact I sometimes wish they used his lower register more instead of just keeping him on high notes.

  • @MusicalNotes100 sorry, I get it now. It's this video that it's even lower.

  • Sounds low. :/

  • Oh god, this sounds sooooo gross taken down a key! Yuck. Shouldn't have done that.

  • @BombWarning Stfu.

  • @TakeABow155 Lol. Good one.

  • @BombWarning XD you are so funny!

  • "Fine Don't sing like that...." {might not be exact quote} Best Kurt's Dad line of the show!!!

  • @dwindle96 me tooo

  • is it just me or does his voice sound a little deeper than it was in the episode in the beginning...? o.O...

  • @InstinctiveLoveKoori Yea, it's cause this version of the song is about 1/2 or 1 step down from the version in the episode.

  • Kurt is so super sexy when he's mad :) <333 Chris Colfer <333

  • watching the episode during this part goes really well with the song! I love this song. and @ gon0etgar, it really does sound like a song from sweeny todd :D

  • i looooooooooove it!!! and i love kurt!!

  • his voice is amazing, i wish i had his voice.

that would be a bit weird though, as i am a girl.....

    Get off of my runway!

    Lalalalala

    *clicks replay*

  • I just sat through the entire movie of Gypsy to see this song in its original form. Needless to say 2 hours later I was truly disappointed. Kurt did it much better. <3

  • Oh my goodness. GO KURT!!

  • Is that 1 dislike a Rose who didn't get a turn?? Love Kurt <3

  • GET OFF MY RUNWAY

  • I have sort of a love-hate relationship with Glee but I can't deny that some of these songs are awesome. This one's amazing.

  • Did you have to lower the pitch to comply with Copyright? I love this regardless.

  • @muffyforevrz Nah, this is the original - Kurt sings lower in this episode to try and seem less gay to his Dad

  • Which episode is this song from?

  • Can anyone explain why he sings, "If it wasn't for me, then where would you be, Miss Rachel Berry?" I've been wondering what he meant by it ever since I heard it and every time afterward lol

  • @kirbywinter I think he means that Rachel is so full of herself but she doesnt realize that she needs everyone else to be perfect

  • @kirbywinter He threw the high note in Defying Gravity to protect his father, and this shows that he thinks Rachel might be less prominent in the club or at least have to share solos with him if he hadn't thrown the diva-off.

  • @muffyforevrz That makes sense. Thanks ^^

  • @kirbywinter i think hes saying that she wouldn't have won the sing off if he hadn't thrown the note (I was thinking about that too and just thought of it today)

  • @kirbywinter i think hes saying that she wouldn't have won the sing off if he hadn't thrown the note (I was thinking about that too and just thought of it today)

  • Miss Rachel Berry?

  • Absolutely freaking brilliant and I've seen 4 legendary actresses perform this on Broadway plus the movie, plus the television special and Chrid puts them all to shame!

This young guy is incredible! Such talent!

  • I love this song as it is in Gypsy and his version :)

  • The ending reminds me of 'Special' from Avenue Q.

    I LOVE Kurt<3

    He's amazing

  • i cried when kurt sung this ;)

  • I love this song! I personally think that he sings it better than they did in gypsy on broadway.

  • it almost sounds to low for him compared to the one in the show. he does it wonderfuly though

  • the start really could be a song from sweeny todd

  • @gon0etgar Well, is is also by Sondheim. =)

  • @gon0etgar Stephen Sondheim actually wrote the lyrics to this musical!

  • @gon0etgar Well it is Sondheim.

  • kurt <333333333333333333333333333333 i looooveee himmmmm

  • perfect. he better win the emmy

  • kurt has anger issues.....

  • @mew0ojama0star ....how does this make him have anger issues?
