That was AMAZING! It is so wonderful to see those lovely big creatures in a tank big enough for them to swim around in. When I say big enough I mean to chase each other, swim more than 2 or 3 body lengths up/down! Yeah those barbs looked a bit 'tired' (more air!). Wonderful vid, thanks!
Did you notice the turtle getting stuck between the logs? My slider does that because she fit through spaces just fine and she hasn't yet figured out how much bigger she is now.
I've always found that quality, if nothing else, endearing.
I'm not sure what size tank this is, but it's huge! The video only shows about half of the tank. To the far left there is a waterfalls and the water cascades into another section of the tank. Might be able to find out on the bronx zoon website how many gallons the tank is.
there is not enuff oxygen in the water because the tinfoil barb are at nose facing down position which means the water is oxygen depleted they better fix that soon or the barbs will die because tinfoil barbs are one of the freshwater fish that demand aerated water and they will be much more active with an very very big air pump installed to that huge tank. how would u closed off to stop air getting in and out u would feel tired and crap and would DIE!!
You're right! Those Tinfoil barbs need more Oxygen. They were moving very slowly with some being almost at a stand still. It's a cool thing to watch a big schoal of Tinfoils :-)
