@UncleSlippie Wrong! The "Obamacare" was quickly set aside because it's currently in the supreme court. In the bill, it requires everybody to purchase healthcare. That is unconstitutional! And, the program hasn't even been started. It's always been everybody's own choice! Why do you need him to tell you what you need? The bill also has little to do with healthcare. It was used as an opportunity to get some of his financial and immigration plans passed.

In the North, they had many slave auctions, and that's how they got to southern plantations! When the slaves from the Civil War time frame were captured in Africa, they were sold to people from the NORTHERN states by African leaders. They were sold to the south AND the north there! Somehow Hollywood left that part out. I know my history!

All the wealthy citizens and government officials had slaves. The majority of soliders that fought in the civil war didn't have slaves. They couldn't afford them. And that's BOTH SIDES! @UncleSlippie Slavery wasn't even a big part of the Civil War. It's what you hear about most due to all the Hollywood films about it. Well, you've been misinformed. And, when Abraham Lincoln signed the Emmancipation Proclamation, it called for the release of all slaves in the North and the South. But, it did nothing, because he didn't have the authority to do that. The major reasons for the Civil War battles were taxes and forms of government. They couldn't come to an agreement on either.
