His name is Daniel Whitney and he is from Pawnee City but now live in Lincoln, Ne with his wife and 2 kids. He grew up on a pig farm here in Nebraska. He doesn't really talk like that and it is an act. He does character comedy. I live in Lincoln, Ne. He is close friends with one of my doctors. I can tell you it is part of his act. I don't know anyone from Nebraska who talks like that. A lot of country farm boys wear sleveless shirts here in the summer, but usually not flannel ones.

i think larry is pretty cool man. ive seen a lot of fake southern accents in my days and they really didnt have it. but he pulls it off pretty damn good. whats funny is he is getting paid mega bucks for the same shit we say everyday. lol now thats talent. nobody thought about going north to make money lol hahhaha hang in there larry. doing a good job.

i thought so to. trust me he is good at it. while in college his roomates had a southern accent and he picked it up from them he said. he is from indiana. totally different than the way we talk. i love him and his movies dont get me wrong but some actors in movies totally suck at a southern accent its like me going to brooklyn and trying to copy them it just doesnt fit. god bless and keep in touch.

In real life he does not talk with any accent at all and actually carries on very normal conversations without the cutting up or "hick" talk. The way he dresses and talks...is completely an act.
