Evos, when built correctly (like mine) and have a good driver (like me) have no issues with Corvettes. Just depends on the car and driver. Ive got my own race of me against a 427 C6...far different outcome.
I'm kind of doubting that Evo's as built as you claim, or built at all.. not saying the vette can't beat it but It's not as built as you say, nor is the vette only running nitrous. i like muscle as well as tuners, those evos have alot of heart, but in reality off the line evo would take off, but not too far, distance is a factor on evos, they wont go faster than a corvette. accelleration wise maybe to a certain extent though.

Unless you are driving on ice or in snow the Corvette will outperform the EVO in every single way and considering it is massively less complicated it's probably more reliable too. Magnus motor sports runs a 6 sec eclipse still with a 4g63T motor in it (also used in the evo 1-3) so a evo motor is running 7 and lower (there is also john sheps talon that runs 7 sec. There is a local shop were the owner has a 8 sec Talon and 8 sec evo.
@SwitchStanceFoLife power isnt the whole car in a vette, consider top speed, handling, and streetability (which is a statistic i hate with a passion). Also what people dont understand is that large strokes have much greater rod angularity and piston speed which causes quite a bit more frictional horsepower loss so they are at a disadvantage from the start wiht hp/litre. And my personal opinion on the evo's look is its sexy if you like rolling bricks with smoothed edges.
@z28snakeeater not only that but one huge problem is that bbc have strokes that are too long and rods that are too short so not only do they have angularity issues but they have terrible side loading problems...

No Z06 nor zr1 will hang with a buschur racing built evo putting out 650+ awhp. David buschur's wife has an evo putting out less than 7 and it runs high 8s full trim. that is 2.0-2.3 Liters of motor too buddy.

@SwitchStanceFoLife power isnt the whole car in a vette, consider top speed, handling, and streetability (which is a statistic i hate with a passion). Also what people dont understand is that large strokes have much greater rod angularity and piston speed which causes quite a bit more frictional horsepower loss so they are at a disadvantage from the start wiht hp/litre. And my personal opinion on the evo's look is its sexy if you like rolling bricks with smoothed edges.

Look it up, on Youtube, there is a stock c6 corvette ZR1 with sticky's that runs 10.9 in the quarter at 130 mph, to do that in an evo... good luck, you will have to replace the:turbo, intercooler, rear suspension, front suspension, interior, and change the bottom end of the motor, or... you can buy a chevy, and a set of micky tompsons.... SO... to make the Evo run 10's, is it still an Evo? its a 4 banger, are you really that stupid? John Force doesnt use a 4banger, he uses, oh yeah, a V8

But still 30 grand wont get your evo to do 7s in the 1/4, gear ratios, suspension, chassis bracing, tranny buffs, axle buffs, wheel upgrads, tire upgrades, and then finally all the work that needs to be done to that 4G603 to get it to atleast 700 hp in order to just get that AWD weight down the track. 30grand couldnt get you in the 8s and everyone knows breaking 8s is next to impossible cheap

And even with said leaf springs, it still out corners any Supra or Skyline stock. A Vette doesn't need 25psi to make 700hp jackass.
