  • Haha! You used the Qui Gon head as the Ra's al Ghul head. Clever!

  • Yeap it's the same Liam Neeson...

  • I thought Ras al Ghul was the chinese guy who leads the badguys.

  • That guy was a decoy.

  • awesome!!

  • that was amazingly good. make the whole movie in lego!

  • i dont get it, if u had the real batman cape why did u use the ordinary one????

  • I used the real batman cape for all of the shots except the ending one, because his cape inflates, so I needed two capes, but I only had one batman cape at the time.

  • clever

  • how do u make the explosions?

  • oh... but really nice vid. anyway

  • nice movie ... but couldn't you just use a reg. batarang from batman sets

  • I didn't have any LEGO batarangs when I made this, the only Batman set I had was the one with Catwoman, which doesn't come with any batarangs.

  • Yeah, that's why I meant it fits so well.

  • LOL nice man XD

  • Lol, is that Quigon's face? Nice.

  • That Batman looks matured. Damn sweet.

  • what porgram do oyu use to edit?

  • I use the Gimp.

  • You're kidding. I use Gimp but I could never do THAT! Nice man!

  • Where can I g et this "Gimp" and how much does it cost plz.

  • You can download the Gimp from the official website, Gimp. org for free. Just search for "Gimp" in Google.

  • dat waz pretty nice

  • awsome but i can tell you didnt have the real lego batman right?

  • At the time, I only had the gray suit Batman figure, so I used a custom torso to make him look more like he did in the movie. But now I have the black suit Batman too.

  • can you redo it?

  • awesome not awsome

  • Freaking awesome!

  • wow! that was class!!

  • noooooo i wanna see the rest

  • But what program do you use???

  • how did you bet the sounds

because i need to do some thing like that in a video i want to do but i cant until i do

  • I used a program called 'Audacity' to record the audio from the DVD.

  • thanx dude

    this should be helpful

  • whats with the yellow guy and where the heck did you get that batman suit and make one for the dark knight. Why that cape on Bats? Thats sucky!

  • What do you mean, "whats with the yellow guy?' Most LEGO figures are yellow, and that's the only version of the LEGO 'Qui-Gon Jinn' face there is.

The only LEGO Batman suit I had was the light gray suit, so I made a black custom batman torso sticker so he would look more like the Batman in the movie.

As for the cape; I used the LEGO Batman cape for the clip up until his cape expands. Then I used two normal LEGO capes to make it look bigger.

  • theres a skin qui gon jinn face out now, its ok i suppose but he looks kind of sad on the boxes.

  • geeze, kanye west

  • Great job. You should try a few more scenes with The Dark Knight coming out next summer.

  • amazing.

  • Wow, that was awesome.

  • I'm glad you thought so. :)

  • Where you get yellow batman head?

  • The Batman head I used wasn't yellow. The lighting makes it look a bit yellowish, but it's flesh tone colored like all of the other Batman heads.

I thought it was kinda cool how I got to use Qui-Gon Jinn's (played by Liam Neeson) head for Ducard (also Played by Liam Neeson).

  • It was pretty funny when, after Batman said "I don't have to save you" when you put the image of Ducard/Al Ghul just staring at him (I just think every Lego animation with voice is funny). Plus when Batman flew away looked kinda funny. Awesome. 5/5

  • Well, there was a quick shot of Ducard/Al Ghul staring at him in the movie, so I had put it in there. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

  • Awesome! 5/5, but how did you get special effects???

  • I drew the explosions frame by frame in the Gimp. I also used the Gimp to mask out the wire on the Batarang. (And if you look closely: The glass in the window is a practical effect using tape!)

  • can you make this glass effect more clearly? what knid of a tape is it?

  • It's clear Scotch tape. Every frame I cut it into more smaller, jagged looking pieces. The tape sticks to the wall and chairs, making it look like it's in midair.

  • very good how long did it take u

  • It took me one day to shoot, and another to do post production and put the frames together.
