My Ibanez with the edge III won't stay in tune for jack shit, the locking nut doesn't lock the first 2 strings down (even when its tightened all the way I can still tune them) and when I tune a couple strings correctly then tune the next one or two, the first 2 instantly go out of tune almost an entire step down, wtf is wrong? The bridge is level, I fixed that problem, and the neck is fine. Will putting the strings in this way help keep the strings in tune?

@hellspawn969 As I can say, this method is very useful if you want a quick change of string. You've not the risk to de-tuning when playin' a new string 'cause the winding on the mechanic. About your poblem, probably is a not optimal set-up in the springs on the back of the guitar. The bridge have a huge excursion and the low strings impresses a strong force. Try to stretch the springs a little more :)

I use floyd rose trems on all my guitars. When the string breaks ( mine almost never break ) it usually breaks at the bridge. You can easily fix it by letting out some extra string at the headstock and locking the string back into the bridge. If you use this guy's method, you don't have that option.

Unless you play out live and change strings once a week its DUMB to put the ball end of strings in the PEGHEADS....'cause when you break a string you CANT roll a little more out and stick it back into the bridge...Thats one of the BEST benefits of the Floyd style bridges..IMO

Funziona anche su Ibanez RG370DX??? E poi quando le accordo, a volte, le altre se ne calano di accordatura (fino a qua tutto normale) però poi mi si alza il ponte fino al tetto della mia stanza DDDD:

@ThePadsem Penso di si, se hai le sellette autobloccanti. Per quel problema, devi calibrare il tiro delle molle (che stanno nella parte posteriore della chitarra) con la tensione delle corde :D in questo modo non ti si scorderanno le corde e il ponte resterà dritto :D

@FrancescoCristian Uhm, un po' difficilottà la scelta così di colpo eheheheh... Gli edge pro sono ottimi ponti se ti va di smacchinare con il Floyd, altrimenti un ponticello stile strato.. ma dipende ovviamente dalla chitarra che hai, tensione e tante altre cose :D
