  • BAASH !

  • lil' gangster

  • That kid was on the twilight zone once

  • I recall in the 60's we used to have realistic toy guns to ; "play war" eventually we got it out of our system-Now kids are not allowed , it isn't P.C. - they get their hands on the real ones and this time it aint playing . . .

  • In the second one the boy is Johnny Whitaker, Jody from Family Affair. I think the girl is Pam Ferdin, a later voice of Lucy on Peanuts. She later became an "animal activist".

  • Larry the Lion sounds like Bugs Bunny! :D

  • the dad in the first commercial is a walking stereotype for the 50's average Joe!

  • "Mumy"

  • THE SECOND COMMERCIAL IS SLIGHTLY DISTURBING

  • @relaxingmusic101 what is really interesting is....that when kids had all these toy guns the rate of violent rimes were lower....go figure

  • 2:58. They had effects in the 70's!?

  • @LegoFantic kinda

  • That old toy gun commercial is amazing!

  • Our society is way too violent now for commercials like this.

At the age of 13 I had a 12 gauge shotgun in my closet with ammunition readily available sitting on the shelf . In this day and age I would never let my son have access to firearms.

  • @superjtrdr lol

  • VIOLENCE IS FUN as long as its not real. BRING ON THE GRATUITOUS VIOLENCE.

  • Thank you for the pussification of america to all you liberal ninnies. Boys don't play war or cowboy and indians, sorry cowboy and native americans, because it is not politically correct.

  • "snub nose 38" lol a gay lion and a pill popping parrot hahahahahaha the lion and the parrot were dry humping in the end wow and bash the injuries wow

  • You think this is bizarre, in the `60`s they use to play the Flintstones cartoons and they would have Fred advertising Winston cigarettes, but they called them "Winstone" I mean RIGHT IN the cartoon!

  • "The Dick Tracy realistic snub nose .38! Yeah kids! Trick your local police officer by pointing it at him! Ha Ha great fun for all!"

  • @JamesTKirkCobain well , back in the fifties , odds are if a cop saw a kid that age with a revolver type gun , odds were good it was a toy , by the time the eighties rolled around there WERE young kids with legitamite semiautomatic weapons running around

  • 3 DOLLARS?!?!?!?!

  • Is Mel Blanc doing the voice of Larry the Lion? He sounds a little like Bugs Bunny! :D

  • for a second i thought that machine gun was real

  • Thanks, paste eating kids and soccar moms. Now I'll never get my Dick Tracy Tommy Burst for only three bucks!

  • That lion is so cute, lol.

  • Toy guns were great. What ruined everything was forced integration.

  • For some reason, I keep imagining that the Tommy Burst (SP?) turns out to be real and the kid gets thrown back =D

  • silly safari reminds me of Mousetrap

  • Mel Blanc voice of the lion and parrot and who was that little girl in the comercial i seem to remeber her from other tv programs back in the 70's

  • Stay off Bills lawn.

  • It's a good thing...it a very good thing that Billy Mumy is in that commercial.

  • Billy Mumy gets mad at his dad and turns him into the Bash game.

  • i love CRACKERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Larry the lion sounds like bugs bunny and daffy duck at some points

  • 3$ lol I'd buy it

  • That's actually Bill Mumy, the child actor who played Will Robinson from Lost in Space.

  • yeah the kid must live in America, since he's like nine years old and he can't read.

  • Wow. Thanks.

    ...even thought it's, well...

    true.

  • Silly Safari by Topper seems a direct ripoff of Ideal's Mouse Trap and Crazy Clock games.

  • William Conrad ("Cannon") voices the VVRROOM Motor spot at 2:00

  • That's little Ron Howard, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah that is shameful the kid can't read at that age and it's on national television! LOL

  • @jeddah91 not only was he in lost in space....but.....he had an on going roll on one of the star trek series and he has co-written songs & performed with the 1970s super group "America"

  • you can't READ

  • 3:41

  • 3:41 wtf ''testical and nose downt goes to cock its nose

  • the kids face lol

  • Wed never see an ad for toy guns anymore...america's kids are such pussies now...good going USA!

  • It's a global problem, really. I remember these huge racks and shelves of toy guns in every supermarket and toy store from when I was a kid in the early 90's.. Machineguns, assault rifles, rifles, pistols.. really realistic guns too. Well, not as realistic as the stuff in the 50's and 60's, but they usually had no red cap in the end of the barrel and many were made of metal. Then, at the turn of the decade/century/millennium they were gone. You can barely find any toy guns in the shops nowadays.

  • it sucks. but you can get realistic bebe guns at wal-mart.

  • If I've understood this correctly, the airsoft guns in the US have to have that red cap thingie in the tip of the barrel? We don't have those in Finland. We also don't have Wal-mart, but we do have many specialized airsoft gunshops and military equipment shops.

  • They put that orange tip on the end because of too many complaints about them being mistaken for real guns - and too many people getting shot in the process

  • I do realize that, but what I don't understand is how people using the replica weapons like they're intended would get shot? As I mentioned, we don't have those in Finland since the people who might get shot are people holding up a store with eg. an airsoft gun and hence we agree that it's unnecessary to ruin the fun for everyone. I've been questioned for walking the streets carrying an airsoft 1911, but I've just been told to put it in my backpack or something instead of carrying it in my hand.

  • @stoningtonj ok ur right even the kids want toy guns but wtf

  • @stoningtonj Overparenting is a cancer. Nothing is more dangerous to children today than their parents who just refuse to let their kids be people! Parents wonder why their kids always stay inside to play... If mom is going to go with you, there's no point to going outside to play!

  • @stoningtonj lol

  • @stoningtonj todays american kids are not interested in toy guns. they want real ones and they get them.

  • @stoningtonj Yeah, but look at the decrease in gun violence since they stopped such ads...why, its non-existent now! ;-)

  • @stoningtonj exsep for nerf but who wants a fake gun

  • I had Larry Lion and loved him! He was a real queen of the forest!

  • that vrroom bike is awesome, i want one.....maybe for christmas

  • bash is a daruma.

  • Look how little Johnny Whitaker is!

  • And Pamelyn Ferdin too!

  • W00t..Billy Mumy rocked :)

  • "Silly Safari" looks like a complete Mousetrap rip-off.

  • looks like it, only you probaly trap the animals instead of the players
