  • Who remembers the cartoon?!

  • 13 people had bad experiences with their dentists...

  • Jack! Gotta love him.

  • 34:45 good ol' jack

  • Jack's always been a total creep... :)

  • wow. just wow. This is NOTHING like the musical.

  • Anybody else think that Seymour is the cutest thing you've ever seen? I keep feeling bad for him when he gets yelled at or upset.. :(

  • I keep expecting them to break into song.

  • I knew about Lil Shop of horrors before Schizma knew I had a large penis.

  • How were the plant puppets built and stuff if the film was made in three days? Or were they already available.

  • It's amazing how a little 3-day made movie can spawn a musical with two endings, dozens of songs, and a play for schools like mine to do all across America!

  • @NicoleSalamen I know right! BTW, we recently did a production of the musical at my high school! :)

  • Made in 3 days. Those epic 3 days gave birth to a legend!!

  • @JediGirlGabs know as the joke of hollywood ha turns into a show then a remake movie baced on the show!!!!

  • @crazybunny6 In point of fact, there have been at least three films and two musicals, based on each other. With the last version being pretty different to the first, oh my yes.

  • @JediGirlGabs says on google made in 2.

  • I just discovered your channel and I´m amazed.I love all these movies.Thank you very much.

  • I thought this was a musical I saw no musical numbers I am dissapointed. Or am I watching the wrong version?

  • @goMJ29 Yes. Go look for the 1986 version, which was based on this.

  • I like how he feeds Audrey Junior a prostitute...It's funny

  • i need that on plants VS. zombies

  • @lemonbery MEH 2

  • Rofl, Jack Nicholson, then Bill Murry? XD

  • You can get a lot of Corman's films on his website newhorizonspictures (dot) com. There's also a blog that apparently will have his thoughts on independent film etc.

  • mushnik's funny^^

  • @NenaMaiiSchatz Yeah, I agree. He's my favorite character in this version. I'm glad he ends up living in the end :)

  • Soooooooooooooo long

  • Feed Me!

  • i thought vids could only be 15 minutes

  • Wasnt there like a cartoon adaption of this movie?

  • Why did I have a single muslim.com advert before the film??? Hahaha!

  • thanks for thi, i got an audition for the show version of this so this helpped alot =)

  • @MsMadman123 i recommend you watch the 1986 musical version though....

  • that was stupid

  • Jack Nicholson was great even back then :)

  • "Too boney!" Ha ha ha.

  • Hey, wait a minute. Is the guy who eats the flowers and Audrey the couple who are in Gremlins?

  • @killerlady1955 Yep!

  • @LuckyStrike502 Get outta here! I knew who the guy was but I didn't expect Audrey to be his partner in Gremlins

  • @killerlady1955 nice, you know your movies

  • @killerlady1955 I noticed it too, Ironic isn't it?

  • Was the script AND film made in two days or just the film?

  • "It grows like a cold sore from the lips." Lol!! Mushnik has the best lines in this film!

  • Jack Nicholson at 34:07 !

  • Comment removed

  • Last time I saw this movie was forty years ago............on late-night TV. Classic!

  • I want to correct on the video description: Jack Nicholson did not make his film debut in this movie. His debut was in the low-budget teen drama The Cry Baby Killer from 1958, where he played the title role. :)

  • I'm not saying the original is bad. But I liked the remake better.

  • so is the other a remake or what

  • lol too boney 1:02:47

  • Amazing! An excellent horror comedy with a great script and rock solid direction. For a low budget film it puts so many of today's indie films to shame.

  • Feed Me !

  • You do a great job with all these uploads, just fantastic! Thanks so much for providing this service!!

  • The clerk was even better than the "few saving grace" type Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters that she'd become forced to voice in "Josie","Dinky Dog", etc. [poor Jackie Joseph, having to do those later stuff. Great comic relief to those later shows..]

  • for a second i thought i was gonna hear jack nicholson say CANDY BAR CANDY BAR !!! LOL

  • LOL! 'Seymour Krelboim Rest in Peace...IN ARABIC!'

  • i LOVE the original I think it was very funny. one of the reasons is because it WAS so cheap.

  • The original film adaption wasn't a musical? Wow, that makes it a lot less fun and a lot more horrific. Though I gotta say, I prefer it with songs, and they seem to have changed the original script of the play an awful lot.

  • This movie came out before the play. The play was the script that was changed a lot from the original, not the other way around.

  • @symbiote35 REALLY? Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for the input! That's really cool.

  • I don't know if you already knew this but The Little Shop Of Horrors was a movie first. It was released in 1960 and the musical stage production was devised in 1982. The 1986 musical movie was based on the stage production.

  • @inamonianim I know, someone already replied to my comment and told me. Very different than what I though! Thanks, though!

  • Yes, I saw the other comment right after I posted mine! I felt so stupid lol xD

  • I didn't know you could legally post whole movies on youtube o.O

  • as long as the movie is in the public domain you don't get copyright trouble :)

  • Uh, You Tube post TV shows and Movies now if you didn't know.

  • You can? Then why don't people just post movies like I Am Legend and massive block buster hits and all that shit. Also, why are most of them posted in parts and not whole 1hr+ videos like this?

  • @inamonianim Copyright. While I absolutely despise Viacom, WMG and the other companies who have been suing Youtube, I'm perfectly fine with companies removing FULL MOVIES. All of the movies that can be watched in their entirely on Youtube are either public domain, or their owners don't care about people watching them online.

  • so I am guessing you don't understand what public domain means...

  • Well, yeah I guess I don't. I found out that old movies have expired copy rights so you can post B movies like this one. But otherwise I thought a movie would get removed by WMG or something.

  • whoah, its the whole thing

  • this is actually from 1960

  • Man, he looks pathetic in this movie xD

  • this movies actually kinda scary...crazy dentist!~

  • i love this movie especially Jack Nicholson!!

  • @rauwkostmusic This is lol, like from 1910?!?! LOLOLOLOL...no. You are a sad person.

  • like,

the movies he uploads are like the most classic movies, but i think you are a bad commenter, cuz it's hard to upload such amazing movies omg! classics and sutff!

  • The first horror movie i ever saw, but i guess its not really a horror movie is it?

  • Without spoiling anything, I have to say it's unfortunate the main character felt so guilty for feeding the plant when technically speaking, everyone he killed was by accident or otherwise not his fault. Yet the shop owner willfully kills someone in order to save some money, but feels no guilt and gets away with it - I think in a way he's as much of a villain as the plant.

    PS: Feed mee.... Feeeed meeeeee!

  • "Who would you like to have tonight?" "You look fat enough."

    Ha ha! Hilarious! :-))

  • Che gioiello!!!Ciao

  • clever and hiliarous film seen this three times, once on vhs and twice on youtube!

  • It so cool that this movie was made in just a few days =)

  • @Peteyhotty123 it was made in 2 days and 2 days alonly

  • @Peteyhotty123 no it was just the filming

  • In the 1986 movie (Starring Rick Moranis) the voice of Audrey 2 (the man-eating plant) was provided by Levi Stubbs. Former lead singer of the Four Tops. Mr. Stubbs did the speaking and singing voice of Audrey 2.

  • i love the new version of this with bill murray and steve martin

  • Who did the voice of the plant? I can't find the name anywhere

  • Legendary screenwriter Charles Byron Griffith, provided the voice for the plant. Source: IMDB mini-biography for Charles B. Griffith.

  • Thanks! This looks really cool! I guess uploading videos of this immense size is a new thing right? Or did I just miss it.

  • You're welcome! No, it's not a new thing. YouTube Partners can upload files this size.

  • I see ; )

  • Another great upload :) not being critical here atall, but where'd you find this copy? Just I saw it on TV a few years back and the sound seemed as if it was remastered. then again youtube FLV compression might of just messed it up I guess.
