  • hahaha i love when ppl chunk it 40 yards and on theyre videos they look out into the abyss like it went 150 but dont give up get lessons and not clubs and after a year you still suck DONT QUIT keep grinding

  • Your problem=cargo shorts

  • Eurotrip!!!!

  • dont know wht ur wrists r doin but the clubstoe should be faceing down at the top of the swing not flat to ur shoulders sort it out and ull strike the ball more consistently and longer

  • your knees are too bent and your back also , u movin ur his with causes fades

  • @TheNikefan15 I wonder why I draw the ball so much then, hmmm.

  • nice swing, the way you seem to strike the ball suggests you are a low twenties handicap.

  • One word, ugly!

  • respect for ur honesty, not like some other douches on youtube

  • good song

  • thats not that bad of a swing, if youre a 40+ handicap you probably dont even own a putter or wedges

  • HAHA IM GONNA WATCH EUROTRIP NOW!

  • Thumbs up if you muted it straight away .

  • beautyyy

  • One major problem in your swing is your weight transfer. You basically do it backwards. At the top of your backswing, you want your weight back just inside your right foot. And you want to finish on your front foot. You will hit the ball more consistently with a proper weight shift. I hope this will help you.

  • way too much weight on the back foot...

  • Your swing looks a lot better than most and I'm sure it looks much better now.

  • drive for show and putt for doe

  • Respect to you mate for not posting bullshit handicaps in the video title. Everybody on youtube these days seem to be a 1 handicapper even though they posted their best shot being a 50 yard snap hook.

  • 14 handicap 4.1

  • loser im 14 and i have a hanicap of 30

  • @StarKiller6209 im 12 and my handicaps 14 so you can shut up

  • @StarKiller6209 haha that's terrible... i'm 15 and have a 9...

  • nice swing man :) btw, does a handicap of 40 even exist?!

  • @xThomas68 You're right, it technically doesn't exist... men's cap is 36.4. USGA's handicap system is antiquated... but it doesn't matter much anymore, I'm under 20 now.

  • @localfitch Yeah, i can believe that, nice swing :)

  • @localfitch i can imagine. good luck for golf :)

  • @xThomas68 36

  • mate you're better than 40 lol

  • You would have to try to be a 40 handicapper!

  • nice choice of music =)

  • sand bagger! no way you're a 40+ handicap

  • oh.. the classic t rex swing

  • dude....straighten out that left arm......if you can cut out that chicken wing you can hit straighter.....

  • i've seen far worse

  • why are u standing so close to it, ur all tight and it makes u tense and you cant release onto the ball

  • Hes the only one who is honest about his handicap......nice swing man:)

  • shankopotamus!! just kidding man. looks like your striking the ball well.... which is a natural thing that you can't teach

  • Work on your short game. You can get your handicap in the twenties with that swing

  • @MRTEED Thanks, check out my other videos... I'm actually down to a 23.6 now.

  • keep your head down a fraction longer

  • You have the basics down! Now just to tweak and get it better! Keep at it!

  • nice keep practicing you'll get it

  • try to keep your front arm a little straighter through the full swing

  • not bad...ive seen far worse lol.

  • to much hip movement. makes it hard for you to keep your shoulders level.

thats why you are hitting the ball so thin.

focus on just rotating the shoulders and arms

  • ive seen worse

  • very good for a 40+ handicap

just dont flex your arms that much

    keep up the good work

  • Adam scott like swing ther

  • Christ. At least you're honest. Take some lessons if you want to get better bro. Go to a local (public) course or get a recommendation from someone. Just keep in mind it'll take years just to break 100 without using a foot wedge or mulligan.

Your elbows are too far apart and you're not dropping the your hands before swinging (slot).

  • Just slow down take your time, keep your chin as far away as possible from your shoulder to allow the shoulders to pass through easily during your swing, from your video i notice your a slicing the ball, try either setting your right foot back ever so slightly to compensate for a more rounder smoother swing, OR close up your club face (don't whack your shins) ! hope this helps...

  • Those clubs are 4 a 5 year old and stop moveing ur head

  • well first off i would try having the club alittle farther away from ur body, second i would try and shorten ur backswing alittle u take it pretty far back, you mite get more consistency if u shorten it up alittle, check my swing out and comment 2 please thanks, keep it up

  • first I say those clubs are a little too short for you.

find a good club maker get a fitting.

    it will help.

At address rotate your head so the point of your chin points at your right foot NOT the ball.

    This feels weird a first.

cause you will be looking at the ball with left eye.

if you turn you head the right way you will know by closing your left eye and ball disappears.

  • Shorten the backswing?

  • Love the song...sucky swing though..

  • just try and hit the ball harder and it will go further and your handicap will drop good luck sir

  • @TheBlackDelorian

That's horrible advice! You should swing easy and make good contact, tempo is almost everything. Just shift your weight well and you will be able to hit it far.

  • I really like how you finish posted up on your left leg after the swing, that is one thing you are managing to do, a proper weight shift. Just keeping your hands at a good distance from your head at the top of the backswing will help you significantly. It is also good that you are activating your legs, but until you can hit the ball straight, i would hold off on getting the legs into it.

  • lol you shoot like a 110-115 regularly

  • stiffen your arms and wrist, then your "overswing" will disappear and you'lll be good ;)

  • hey man u got a pretty good stance take a comparison of your swing and some other professionals on youtube.. u look really flat at the top of your swing

  • you have a lot of movement on your legs, good solid legs adds distnace as for the upper body try and maintain your left arm straight on the setup and on the back swing. its not only swing, if you could post a video of a close up of your grip you could end up fixing quite a few problems just by changing the positions of your hands, and remember taking tips is ok but to really improve it is strongly suggested you see your local pro a one on one lesson.

  • Thanks!

  • just try keep your lead arm straight, it will help.

  • its a bad swing bt no way he a 40 handicap

  • keep your backswing shorter, and you sort of pull to the side on your swing, try to keep it more vertical. Also your position your body farther back, you have most of your body in front of the body, try to keep your right shoulder behind it.

  • lol i like the title and song.

  • you have to transfer the weight off you right foot to your left foot on the downswing. That's why your not getting you backfoot into the toe position. That's causing your slice.

  • you're flipping

  • I don't think its a bad swing, do you struggle around the greens then? keep trying though =D

  • i think at the top of the backswing ur right elbow is too low

try it out bcos i used to be like dat and i got a gd bit better after bringin it higher

  • u have a better swing than me and im a 20 handicapper

  • THATS NOT A 40+ handicap

  • dude get your hands out infront of you at the top of your backswing...... do not lay your left arm across your chest ... its not an overswing if you keep your hip turn shorter. on the forward move let the hands fall then assist with power (like pushing a child on a swing) hit loads of 3/4 swings to ingrain this feeling. good luck localfitch

  • not to bad, i agree with that guy shorten your swing and work on having a smooth swing

  • shorten ur swing!! too long and flopsy?!

  • Not too bad!

    Keep Practising!

  • youll never be consistent if you keep bending your left arm. keep the left arm straight and use your wrists more. maybe adjust your grip to make the club head align with your target. seems a bit open at the top of your swing.

  • personally, I think your swing isnt all that bad, doesnt even look like you need to improve much.. maybe just not trying pulling your whole body with your motion, so keep your legs square with the ball for a good swing.. sorry if it doesnt help but i find i like it better that way.. and also, make a wide swing so you dont cut across your body, this will help geting a more pwrful swing and better contact with the ball!! keep it up though!

  • You didnt seem to hit them too bad. Just keep practising. My friend was off 36 at the beginning of the year. Now he plays everyday and is off 14

  • Thanks for the constructive comment. I've been working a good deal this year and have ironed out some swing flaws. I also got a new set of Titleist AP1's which I'm hitting a lot better than my Callaway X-18's in this video. I'll try to update with a new video soon.

  • swing sux* quit the sport)

  • i bet you just fapped to it

  • with a little work you could prolly be a 39...hahaha

  • and your swing is posted... where...?

  • good for you, 11 handi is not great though, so dont brag bout it.

  • Well good for you, pat yourself on the back. Enjoy playing from the pussy tees while you can.

  • o ya the tips are real wimpy

  • Scotty doesnt know!

  • what kind of driver is it?

  • 905R... V2 Stiff...

  • the best driver

  • loser!!!

  • Hey man, i'm not sure if you want comments or not but here ya go.

If i had to guess, i'd say you hit the power fade most of the time. A couple major tips would be to:

    1. turn your right hand more under the grip, in a clockwise motion, this will easily provide some more power.

    2. this is hard, but keep your right knee bent through the swing, and put your weight on your right foot in the backswing. that will help cure the slice i'm guessing you have.

    just some tiny things

    hit em straight

  • nice scotty!
