Honda yet reliable their kinda putting their bikes on the back burner i used to own one very reliable but now im a CAN-AM die hard as for Polaris my buddy as one and the mud we have around here is thick clay and were always waiting for the polaris to cool down!!! that and my winch on my outlander 800 has pull out more wheelers then iv needed to on my own bike.

polaris and can am are the only one's who don't offer true 4 wheel drive, but all wheel drive which means the back wheels spin first then lock in the front... the kawisaki has a variable diff that if you pull the leaver all the way in actually true 4 wheel drive on the fly

lol i had 2 sportsman's it worked pretty good in mud but usually barried it self in snow because the back wheels spin more and when the front lock in it's too late. yamaha and suzuki offer true four wheel drive not 3 wheel drive, my brute is 3 wheel drive untill i pull back the variable diff lock which i can engage on the fly and lock the front end up to true four wheel drive... i also like to be in control of what my atv is doing while i drive not what it feels like doing, please read the spec

as far a i know the only atv without a locking front diff is a honda. i have wheeled with lots of can's and they seem to work great and i haven't owned one but i can tell you that the awd on the popo has to sense 1/5 of wheel spin to lock up the front end and engage four wheel drive... enough to get you stuck in certain conditions

Cause i couldn't decide if i should go with Mudlites or Mud Runners. Decided to just buy Mud Runners cause Mudltes were more expensive and i wanted rims. i was gonna get 26s but they dont make 26s anymore. then i had to decided if i wanted 25s or 27s. i just stayed with the 25s cause i wanted to keep my speed and torque. i kinda regret doing that now lol

Top speed was never something I would have hit anyways, but yah it prob brought it down. As for HP loss, you dont loose any, its just harder to spin the wheels. I added a clutch kit for that
