canadians it is not about the win, you were suppose to win. But winning with a little class and sportsmanship isn't that part of the olympics anymore. I guess not in canada. What if the US mens team had won and done this everyone in the world would be outraged but since it's canada it is ok to show bad sportsmanship, celebration overrides sportmanship . Why did the Canadian Men's Hockey Team snub the Canadian Women's Hockey Team when they were receiving their Gold medals? The 10 - 15 men in the stands looked like they were attending a funeral? Not one of them applauded or cracked a smile. If they thought that Women's Hockey Team were unworthy of their support, then they shouldn't have been there in the first place. Shame on them. I am very disappointed in the Men for their lack of support. Let the women celebrate, they deserve it!!!
Its not like they broguht a news cast out onto the ice with them, the media are the ones who decided to show the ENTIRE world --the only reason little girls would see these pictures is because the media wanted to make money off it.
Media pretends to be outraged but they are the ones who made this content available and viewable for everyone on earth to see
I don't know a single adult that doesn't drink or hasn't smoked at some point in their life. These women aren't saints, they aren't a part of the clergy; they are kickass hockey players who defended Canada's honour on the world stage by winning a 3rd consecutive gold in women's hockey. And right after they won their gold? That's their time, not anyone else's, they shouldn't have to be role models for anyone. With all the pressure they have been under to be the best, they deserve a few drinks.

And also if your loooking for Ice Hockey to set an example for your kids your F'd in the first place - theres a fist fight per game lol ----People r probably pissed cause they rely on TV to raise their kids instead of doing it themselves, which sux cause if u watch any of the teenage geared programming now adays theres a lot worse topics than Athletes drinking a few beers after a victory.

@TimeGod12 thats not the point, all of the women on this team are 18 or older, they are legal adults in canada, who cares if they have some beer, and cigars! they deserve it, they worked their asses off their whole lives and they just achieved their dreams and life goals! whats not to celebrate!? and if my sister or mother won a gold medal in the olympics i'd be dissapointed if they didnt celebrate! and like ralphyization said, there are worse things that an adult women could do.
