@BigPimp14 right. my whole problem with this production is the date keeps getting pushed back. now they are listing 2012 on the imdb site and my guess is part of the reason is because they haven't found a Bruce Leroy yet? and who thought of Rihanna getting involved with this? i mean i know Vanity wasn't considered the 'best' female vocalist back then, but come on.

@mack1820 I agree, yet my other issue is that it's kinda of sounds like it is a waste of time to do. If they really tried to make it fresh or a sequel it would be great. But Samuel as Shonuff sounds like they want to make a pointless copy. Rampage Jackson acts now, maybe he should be the big bully, yet don't force him to act the same. I like the bully in "Fighting". Maybe the big asian guy in "007: Die Another Day", maybe Dwayne Johnson or even John Cena could get it right.

Kateringa Graham & Paula Patton fit the description best & if you look up Katerina's "Boom Kat" video which was shot & recorded waay before Rihanna's "Rude Boy" ever came out, you'd see who's copying who.. k? Kats style is most like Vanity's naturally if you've looked up her underground performances & so on. Rihanna looks least like Vanity to me & is nowhere near as beautiful.

I agree 100%. Corbin is thee ONLY boy I could see coming close to being as innocent & corny in a cute way as Taimak was as Leroy. He'd be perfect & he & Katerina woud have AMAZING chemistry.
