  • @MikeTheDark001 There is one form of music I cannot bring myself to have any time or respect for, and that is anything with the suffix '-core'. Then again, that's only music if the sound of a vulture having its vocal chords ripped out is pleasing to your ears.

  • These guys would make good shredders

  • ...and everyone always gives yngwie all this credit for his classical "skills"....

  • My heart melts!!!! <3 <3 <3

  • Any one know what guitar Al Di is using? Just beautiful...

    :)

  • @UmarSyeed Di Meola is playing an Ovation. He certainly could afford a custom wood guitar but he is an endorser for that brand.

  • It don't get any better !!!

  • hands down, a guitar enthusiast's dream song!

  • im speachless

  • "You have to respect all form of music, no matter how much you don't like it. On that note you must admit Vai is a very skilled guitarist, and anyone that thinks otherwise knows nothing about the guitar."

Vai is indeed a very skilled guitarist, but no comparison to these guys. I believe he lacks the skill to execute a song that is aurally enjoyable. If you really want to hear some awesome shed and a guitarist that "knows lots about the guitar" then check out the US band "Animals as Leaders"...

  • Tsss sin palabras están muy cabrones -.@""

  • Larry Coryell is amazing and miss him in the trio! Nothing wrong with Al of course! Have you heard Larry's son Julian Coryell? He plays isin another cool guitar trio called Line Forms Hear. Good musical DNA!

  • just incredible. very badass!!!

  • @MikeTheDark001 I AGREE 200%

  • I love how they just giggle when Al does the burn at 2:30 or so....I mean....I giggled.

  • indeed

  • anyone can become skilled if they practice long enough. talent can never be learned

  • i love al but damn his tremolo picking on those phosphor bronze strings is incredibly painful! And playing out of that shitty ovation doesn't help it out at all either...oye, but none the less 2:25-2:41 was awesome

  • this is BEYOND greasy

  • Vai, he is awsome bitch.

  • Beauteous

  • Flamenco is awesome

  • varyaaa ulan

  • one of the best classical shredding i've seen

  • @Leknesftw None of these guys plays classical guitar. Paco is a world renowned Flamenco guitarist. Al and John are two jazz fusion guitarists, great none the less.

  • paco is wonderful and al is my best teacher,

inever comment john to me its like coltrane or mozart not the same dimension

  • Best guitar song ever!

  • cok iyisiniz cooookkkk....

  • Vai and Ali in my opinion would be a better match/concert/duel/....whatever, they both have a similar sound

  • Many shredders acknowledge Al, John, and Robert Fripp as some of the progenitors of the technique. But the three of them are fans and contemporaries of each other. =)

  • Very beautiful

  • completly sincronized and pretty much perfect

they should do G3 V.S. Guitar Trio or inivte Paco and DiMeola to G3

    that would be timeless

  • Paco is the best acoustic guitar player in the world guys and keep in mind that while the others use a pick or whatever it's called, he uses his fingers to pick each one of the strings when he plays.

  • You must know tons about guitar playing .....

  • All 3 of these guitarists are magnificent. I'm partial to Al but I won't let that get in the way of acknowledging the greatness of Paco and John. Unfortunately, the market for this type of music is too small for these guys to build on this. Thus, they need to diversify to make a living. But if they could just concentrate on this and allow it to evolve, I think the market would broaden and then wooooo... Katie bar the door!

  • 3 totally different styles but all the best of their classes really...getting together and basically jamming off some progressions...and its fuckin sick!!! I used to listen to this album all the time..literally..my favorite here is Di Meola..paco is real good, and John is of course real good...but i think that crazy groove of di meola has me sold!!!

  • i dont get it. these guys shred it up better and faster then any metal guitarist i know. why arent they guitar gods like john petrucci? they certainly play better then him......its an acoustic too....so its harder

  • I completely agree and Paco's using his fingers on a neck nearly twice as large

  • Paco is a guitar god.

  • What the heck? I heard too many people worshiping and praising john petrucci as a guitar god! Heck, they have no clue that he's not the only guitarist out there! Oh whatever!!! I like this song very much!!! :>

  • Petrucci is a god, some of his songs blow me away with their strong melodies/harmonies, and really rhythmic low-end backing guitar... It has a really unique flavor to it, like its from a country I've never heard before.

This is equally amazing, don't get me wrong, but theres no way this somehow undermines Petrucci..

  • Yeah whatever dude!!! But I still go with these guys!!!

  • not better mate, equally as good. What I love about Petrucci isn't his technical speed but his unique taste for melody and his unique song structures...

  • Well you got your point dude!!!

  • Yup and Rodrigo said noone interpreted his concierto better

  • He was right :)

    Concierto de Aranjuez dammit!

  • These guys are AMAZING...

Paco can play classical guitar "EASILY" (check his performance of "Concierto de Aranjuez"), but a Classical guitarist "can not" play like Paco..., they don´t have the technique and velocity to do it...

Paco can also improvise, a classical player not, the flamenco guitar has different techniques...

Better than these guys...? I doubt it..

  • There are no better or les better guitarists at this niveau, every famous guitarist is famous because he could play the guitar on a way that people like...

PACO ERES EL MEJOR GUITARRISTA DE LA HISTORIA -- he fucks off di meola and john only WITH HIS FINGERS!!!

  • Masters.. amazing... BUT theyre not classical players dont be confused, go check John Williams and there you have classic guitar.

  • first of all paco is flamenco player not classical one second we must respect this trio they re playing accoustic without effects they give us pure music

  • lol no theyre not the best in the world, for a start only the first guy is playing classically and not properly. I ve been brought up in a classical guitar household, i mean my mum is a professional teacher and concertist! I am not denying theyre good but I have seen much better, Gary Ryan who is in the top three of worlds best and Carlos Bonnel

  • The best classical guitarrists in the world!!!!

  • in my opinion, de Lucia is the current flamenco god.

  • i dont link dimeolas sound. sounds link piezo - probably it is.

  • i just saw al di meola live yesterday!

  • my favourite flamenco song of all time...first time heard it when i was 10 years old.

  • Jusr like good wine, these guys get even better over time. What a treat!

  • the audio is delayed but its awesome anyway
