It's Zmuda. He didn't have as much of a stomach then. Besides, this was the time Zmuda playing him. It was also written in a novel about Andy that his family approved of. Plus, listen to the man's voice - it's clearly Bob Zmuda. I shouldn't be doing this though. Kaufman would be pissed I was telling you the truth & setting you straight. Forget what I said! 'you're right, it's not zmuda'.

Even though I just had a few seconds to work with since MOST of the video was taken up by Merv's intro it's 100% Bob Zmuda. A diehard Tony Clifton fan can tell the difference in an instant between Kaufman, and Zamuda's performances. They're as different as night and day.

That's actually not true. Even a not diehard fan of the world can tell the diference between day and night. So therfore it's harder to tell the diference between Kaufman en Zmuda.

@tonymontana1974 Sorry it took me so long to reply. Sort of half & half with them sharing "Clifton Duties" on rare occasions with Andy's younger brother Michael. (Which explains the ending of "Man on the Moon" btw.)

his close friend and fellow joke writter i think you mean. since andy didnt have a brother he had a sister and if your referring to the man on the moon movie the guy that was always with him and also played cliftonwsent his brother just a really good friend and help andy write some of his greatest work pranks and skits. but yes andys friend also did the tony clifton act

actually, andy did have a brother, michael. he would occasionally do appearances as tony clifton, not as frequent as andy and zmuda, but he did in fact do clifton from time to time... i apologize if someone already corrected you and i didn't see it.
