I am a frequent traveller in BA Club World. I've never flown Virgin Upper Class before, but I notice this airline also serves most of the routes I travel.
Can anyone advise whether the service in Upper Class is better than Club World?
It's not... Give it a go and see, had the misfortune of flying VS upper from SYD-HKG in Feb, didn't like the A340 for one, bar was tiny, crew miserable and upper class a rip off! BA Club World is far better but as I say, give Virgin a go and see for yourself!
To be honest Ive heard nothing but the best about Virgin Atlantics service... except for now with flyboyz83. Not saying hes wrong but we are all bound to have a bad flight from time to time :)
Actually, for the price, Virgin Upper Class is leagues ahead of BA Club World! I've done both and the two just don't compare well...with Virgin you'll have a seat with clear division between your neighbour, the lounges are much better (only Virgin lounges, not codeshares)...remember, Virgin Upper Class is a J class business class product which means it's a 'premium business class product'.
You're of course entitled to your opinion, but I fly virgin every month and hold them in particularly high regard...BA on the other hand lost my business a long time ago!
Virgin Upper Class is much better than BA Club World. The seats are bigger, the flat bed is far better, the division between seats is better and you always have direct aisle access, plus the lounges are very good...

Annoying, Elitiest & SMUG. But then thats exactly the type of Demographic they are advertising to.John Hannah,an actor who's personality is as flat and bland as most Airline Faux bubbly, trys to act cool and suave, but comes across like a spoilt lottery winner on his first trip abroad.
And why does he look like he's slept in a national express waiting room for 3 days?
You are annoying. And I can tell you've never been on Virgin Upper Class. If you think this is Elitiest and smug, then you don't know what flying like a true jetsetter is... Go fly Ryanair where you can rub shoulders with your fellow chavs and the hoi polloi of London
The focus of this advert is to advertise the launch of the new private "terminal" at LHR and how it saves you so much time at the airport. I personally really like it.
I work for Virgin Atlantic, and I have to say I'm not overly impressed with the advert. It doesn't represent the brand that well. I think the "Beauty Sleep" commercial that was used to launch the Upper Class Suite was far better, had a brilliant soundtrack too.
Yes it's a nice, stylish commerical, clean, decent soundtrack. But doesn't represent the established Virgin brand well enough. The Limo to Lounge service is great, and the lounge is truly incredible. I think for £6m, the ad could have been far more impressive.
what ones your sister

No. It is a BUSINESS CLASS product, simple. Not a 'premium' one.
J is the standard fare code for standard Business class.
Virgin is nothing special, believe me.

I never meant that VS is bad, I'm just saying that Upper Class is Business Class and nothing more.

It doesn't do the brand Virgin justice.Far too expensive for a poor result.
