I'm actually classically trained, including classes in stage combat (also trained in real combat). The slap looked awkward because Jen had to reach so far to land it.  It's a big TV. :-)

I think it's because we're so trained to watch the fake punches in movies that real ones no longer look real. :P By the way, these are great. Whatever you do, don't stop making this series!
