    ...recipe for pepper pot pleeeease!

  • Chris ,you are GREAT do not read negative comments . It is so easy to fellow you and learn how to cook these recipe. Thanks

  • chris how would it work if you deep fried the pork?

  • dear sir if you are going to call it garlic pork ,guyana stile, then you should have used the traditional fine thyme and let the shado beni be the option. the other thing is i am a guyanees and i live in trinidad and most of them do not know about garlic pork so i think you should have stick to the original recipe so that people could have experience the real guyana stile garlic pork........ and then decide if they want to improvise

  • YUM YUM YUM.

  • @TwistedVisionx1: It's very hard for us here in the U.S. to find Guyana thyme. I mean, I don't know of any stores that sell that here in Texas.

  • @TwistedVisionx1 I think I was very clear when I said that by adding the shado beni, it was my choice and not traditional. I did also mention that thyme can be used. Not sure If I said three days in the video..somehow I think i said 4-5 days. How long you marinate after that is by preference.

  • portugese were in trinidad and guyana? thats the first time i heard that

  • @rostant999 - Yeah they are a minority here in Trinidad, along with the Syians, Lebanese, Chinese, et al

  • @SharpGilpin , i heard of spanish there but not ever portugese but they did get around all over, as for lebanese i always heard them called syrians,. i was born in trinidad but moved away to canada when young so guess dont know trinidad that well. so is there an trinidad version of vindaloo curry sometimes called devil curry (hot chili with vinegear for sharp tastes). in india portugese enclave of goa they make it there and in southeast asia it tastes great.
