  • You would have a much more fun set up if you said screw it to thouse last few mph. Then just add a contra spring to hold your RPMS higher for the first 30 MPH or so. You can crack out to 10k revs but you arnt using them. Get the scoot to shift slower in the rear and make at luach harder like a jap scoot. I know their 2 strokers but they almost crack redline from 0-all the way up. Youre way to low in the revs costing you some serious pull. Screw going 48mph and just rapp it out 45mph fast

  • lol it took you 2 mins to go 1 1/2 mile at stock ruckes will easly do that some proformance up grade FAKE all you did was put some flash light crap on it lmao.

  • Dude you need to tune your cvt better keep it below 9000rpm or thet big bore might decide to eat the rod bearing and shit it out.

  • if you want to get more top speed like 55 to 60 mph out of a 50cc take the restricting washer out from inbetween the front pully behind the transmition cover, drill holes in your baffle inside your muffler or pay 100s of dollars to get a performance one that will not work as good as drilling holes in your baffle rejet your carb to bigger jets, get a 1500lb clutch spring instead of the stock spring theres countless performance things you can do to a 50cc

  • how do you get a ruckus to get over the 45 mph top speed they supposedly have? is there a trannsmission add on or something? i want one, but i want to at least get to 55 or 60 on it. i think big rear tire and no governer would work, but a 2 speed tranny would make it all the more sweeter.

  • I purchased the Stewart Warner GUS Gauge. Where can I get the mounting bracket you use on your Ruckus. Excellent mount. Can't find.

  • thats a fast ruckus....hey are you extended?

  • how many miles can you put on these things?

  • its a honda, i would imagine plenty.

maybe not what a 600 cc can but still a quality product.

im curious if they are worth the 2,100 dollar price tag. thinking of getting one my self

  • i got an 07 for 1,500 and they are alot of fun, plus easy to modify

  • @baylorz28 The piston and head gasket is 195 bucks. The machine work cost like 100 bucks. Man up and build your own motor and save a ton of money. Its not very hard and there is even a free service manual pdf you can steal if you know how to use a search engine properly to find good stuff. Serch some videos on valve adjustments and have some 12 year kids tell you all about fixing it up. ITS THE SIMPLEST FORM OF MOTOR besides a 2 smoker. YOU CAN DO IT and will have a good time learning.

  • 1. Is that a glow shift gauge or another sort.

    2. Do you plan on getting a bigger speedo because im sure you got to be doing at least 50 by now

  • Your a idiot I have a ruckus myself. Every one has top speed runs with after market parts but it only goes 45 on the gague not showing the true top speed. I simply Asked if he was going to get a bigger speedo to show what his true speed is or fly by a speed poster. I dont know how you misunderstood anything i wrote. A speedo is a damn gauge, you know speedometer

  • WTF?

  • Time for a bigger speedo

  • hey,

what mods did you do on your ruckus and where did u get the info on it

  • TotalRuckus dot com

  • which tachometer do you have there?

  • GUS from Stewart Warner

  • I have a stock 07 Ruckus. No mods for me as it's currently my only transportation...But I'll probably post some videos on here and myspace of me off roading on it lol. Seriously it kicks some ass going up dirt hills down the street from my house :)

  • Nice Ive Got A 03 Ruckus No Upgrades Yet But Im Hopein Soon...How Much It cost For Ur Upgrades
