@MrNoobWarrior Hmm, I don't think puppies cry because they miss their parents, but rather because they're 'alone' when/if you first try to crate train them. I think I had a week of sleepness nights when mine was wailing all night even though he knew I was laying not 5 feet from his crate =_=; When yours is 8 weeks old, they can begin to eat solid dog food and drink water. I heard if they're younger than that, they still need their mom's milk

@MrNoobWarrior well, most husky breeders won't let you take a puppy home till they're at least 8 weeks old. So I'm guessing they still need milk until that age. So if your puppy is 2 months old, that would be about 8 weeks and she won't need you to feed her milk anymore

hes so cute! Im looking tto buy a husy of his coloration and i was wanting to know something. I also have a 10 year old beagle named Nina. Do you know if husks are similar to beagles? I know they both are hunting dogs... I think. lol Both are hard to train i understand that but is there anything that i should know before i get a husky? Anything that is very different from a beagle?

Huskies aren't really hunting dogs (they're working dogs that love to pull things, you included :P) but they have a high prey-drive, so they don't work well with critter-sized pets. Both breeds are similiar in the hard-to-train area, smartness, activeness & stubbornness. Differences are that huskies do not have the unpleasant 'dog' smell (they're the best smelling dogs I know of), shed a lot more, blow coats yearly, & do not bark (yay! unless your Nina teaches him to).

Like when I researched malamute I learned that they tear up everything when they're pups.(besides teething) I have nina so it wouldnt be alone if huskys are known for separation anexiety. Is there something that is Highly different from a beagle? Oh and what do you mean by "blow coats yearly"? (groom them yearly?)

@smileyblackpannther I think all puppies that are teething will like to chew/ tear up stuff if you let them. I bought many diff-textured chew toys for mine, & corrected him frequently if he tried to chew other stuff - definitely helped minimize damage. blowing coat means they shed all/ most of their fluffy undercoat during summer. basically if he brushes against your black jeans, he leaves behind a ton of fluff. you have to brush all of it out (bags full) over a week or so, and it will grow back

Huskies are good with people in general - the only reason I would reccomend against having a husky with young kids is that huskies shed a lot.... kids + fur = not a good thing. Some kids may develop allergies or asthma.
