Slam or deathcore,on both camps some bands are totally shit and others are pretty good. The concept of fusing hardcore groove with death metal are not a new thing.Slam did years before deathcore. Slam are more underground and simplistic to play like anything are groove oriented music. But deathcore are lots more of skilled musician and more juvenile concept but in many years from now the genre grow up and the concept take maturity like any style of music.
