The ignition switch on the left was a hark to the racing days where the drivers had to run to their cars, jump in, start it up, put in gear and drive off. Having the switch on the left makes you able to have one hand to start and one hand to put in gear simultaneously.
@editordavids I uses an iPhone 4S now so it;s a bit better. I cant setup with tripods or take my time while at an auto auction where filming is prohibited
Not sure if anyone pointed this out, but that is not a height adjustable suspension button you were pressing it was to raise or lower the rear spoiler, just an observation, love the vids man!
@Intechdude300@altiguy01 at 6:51 the button on the left is the button to raise and lower the rear spoiler and the button on the right is the sport suspension button. Just noticed the two comments and thought I'd clear it up
Uhh no. He's a much different as in being quite appreciative with just about everything. I will have a critique, state a fact, or make an opinion on just about everything nor will I censor myself nor care much if I piss off or offend any1. And these cars are at auction too owned by dealers & finance companies, not at actual dealer lots like where he films usually.
Reminds me up every time I open the ashtray. Automakers have slowly been fazing them out thank god LOL..
I hate the scent, ashes, smoke, the damage done in cars & houses, seat burns, how it screws ones health, teeth, breath, & a waste of money for the average Joes budget. + a waste of development money for automakers when designing an ashtray & etc when that extra effort couldve been used for bettering a cars interior quality.
I also hate how Porsche puts the ignition switch on the left side although i guess they have a decent excuse for why its like that, its still very awkward... The engine didnt sound very good at start up, or was that the rumbing of the exhaust? IDK, even if i was rich I dont think I would ever buy a Porsche, I guess I'm just not a fan of boxer engines :P
Yeah I know what you mean but it was the exhaust....... I wouldnt purchase a Porsche either knowing theres better, more flashy, & more convenient choices out there. Heck, I didnt even feel bad when Clarkson was beating up that old 911 LOL....
@Intechdude300 for the hell of it i squeezed myself into the backseat of one of these and it was'nt fun or pretty i'm 18 and 5'11 that did'nt work my friend who's 17 and she's 4'8 and that did'nt work either
@xoquixxoqafxo That came from the old Le Mans start days where drivers would have to run across the track and hop into their cars, get buckled, start the car and get going as fast as they could. It made for a faster start having the ignition right there as you jumped into the car, and the trend just carried on into the present day.
The ignition is on the left because they got that from the old school racing cars when the drivers had to run to their cars and start them up and so it would be convenient for them to put the car in gear immediately as their right hand would be free while the left hand would be used to start the car. Daily fun fact for ya!
Well, generally if it were a smokers car, the scent of the smoke would've been stuck in the car & usually there would've been burns around the interior. And with such low mileage, I'm just about sure nothing was every lit inside this car.

To blame the car for a drunk driver's death makes no sense.... Put it this way; drive stupid, die stupid

Just a question, but how come you despise smokers so much? After watching like 30 of your videos in a row it seems to be a recurring theme.
