  • if you look again on the us airways take off it doesnt look like it has any flaps down #?????? 0:41

  • US Airways 767-201ER N249AU. Been flying since 1987.... Couldn't catch the Reg on the 747....

  • Correction: Kalitta 747-123 (!) is N717CK. This bird is almost 40 years old!

  • love boeing 767

  • And when the Kalitta Air B747 landed this was what happened

    watch?v=uG-TCC0aV2g&feature=related

    lol

  • That bird almost got sucked in by Air bus, sorry i meant scare bus!

  • Wow, that Kallita 747 was hauling some ass

  • Us airways is airbus not Boeing the changed after peidmont and us airways merged

  • That WAS a Boeing 767 of USAirways taking off!!!!!!!!!!!

USAIrways still employes plenty of Boeing Aircraft in addition to Airbuses.

  • the a319 is sooo quiet :)

  • us airways sucks.

  • Awesome video -- thanks :)

  • Nice video !

  • i have a question, is a 767 better to fly on than a 777?

  • @jstapen

The 777 is better, but i love both of them

  • I find the 767 roomier because its only 2x3x2 seating in the main cabin.....

  • man that 747-200 looked old, but im glad its still flying.

  • The paint made it look old

  • I've loaded that AC before. n747ck

  • yahoooo...

  • very nice video !

  • so screw you =/

  • Then make a better video yourself, faggot.

  • :33 seems like that 767 had slats out, but no flaps

  • the 767 doesnt need flaps i think, my video on my profile has a 767 taking off with no flaps.

  • the boieng 767 i think i saw front wing flaps set though

  • I think you are right, probably was really light, and like boeingLL747 said doesn't need flaps below a certain weight.

  • true

  • is it just me or was that bird a little close to that BMI A319?

  • It was just you I think ;)

  • yea i saw it too..its like that bird jumped up and tried to tap it. rite at 0:55 like the other bird darred him or something.

  • watch?v=CCmcVFt8Y7c

    SAYS IT ALL!

  • 0:55 close to birdstrike

  • GTFO HO. Go make some friends somewhere else HOOKER.

  • i wish us airways could aquire a 777

  • yeah but theyre planning to get an all-airbus fleet :S

  • arn't 777 Primarily Delta?

  • Singapore operates the most 777's

  • i thought that was 747

  • i dont know about 747's

im pretty sure its not them though

  • sorry =(im mad. good vid.

  • sorry guys i meant 747-100F .

  • 747-200F KALITTA AIR

  • the 767 took a second or two to get off the ground! must B hev E!

  • the 767 took a second or two to get off the ground! must B hev E!

  • the 747 was a 200 or 300 right

  • The Kalitta 747 in video looks like a 747-100. It's only got 3 windows on the top deck. The reg# N717CK on back, says it was a 747-100 built in 1971

  • i can only tell the diference between a 747-400 and a 747-100/200/300

  • Just some easy things: -100's & -200's have a short hump, -300's & 400's have a longer hump (only exception are KLM's SUD's, but there out of business arldy so that doesnt matter). Only -400's have winglets, while only 100's have three windows on the upper deck. The 100B and almost all 200's have multiple (10 or so) windows on the upper deck, while the later models have 18 I believe.

And the 100's have old engines, P&W JT9D's.

  • I forgot to mention that there are some confusing exceptions: a few 747-200's have three windows on the upper deck like most 100's, and to make matters more complicated, a couple 747-100's have ten windows on the upper deck like most 200's.

The 747-400D(D=domestic)does not have winglets. And the 747-400F does not have the extended upper deck, whereas some passenger -300's and -400's converted to freighters kept their extended upper deck. Btw no -300F's have been constructed.

  • The back part of the engines on the 747-100 is pretty different too. It's longer in comparison to the front of the engine.

  • To Bananas:

Good comment, this Kalitta Air 747 is way back from the 70s. It is a 100, and it still flies!! I can't imagine the fuel burn on those machines, but I guess Don keeps roaring 'em up...

  • I luve tht sound of that US767. that small 319 was also nice

  • Nice video, note how the rollout of the airplanes are different.

  • damn dat 767 is smooth!

  • can anyone tell me what qualifications are needed to become an airline pilot? i am 18 years old an studying A levels at college.. i am in the UK.. thanks!!

  • U go to flight school and they tell u from there

  • If your in college then just go to a flight school and your set.

  • Lovely sequence. You caught the 777 fan buzz beautifully, I love engine sound, thanks.

  • Gotta love the 747 too!
