  • I didn't recognize their uniforms and they didn't sound English, then I noticed they have goofy American English accents and realized they're Canadian.

  • who here want to die?

  • god i love this show

  • hehehe john cawks

  • heh heh Captian John Cocks

  • the c7ct is pretty much like the sdm-r and sam-r in the us army and marines, just a marksman rifle, and how can you mistake the 12.7mm bolt action tac 50 with a 5.56mm gas operated c7ct ?

  • theyre 3RCR paratroopers

  • @skrinjy39 not all of them are para though.

  • No mercy, No mercy?? Are we just US puppets run by sell-out politicians? Is this what Canada has become? Make me sick.

  • @OutsideTheEdge stfu you have no idea what your saying

  • @JoshTheDrummer69 @JoshTheDrummer69 From your profile: "About Me: Watch this movie, its free and the best movie you will ever see, shows how the american goverment is crazy, shows how we will be controlled like robots soon if we don't do anything about it!"

You have the same sort of sentiment on your profile and you tell me to stfu? Your comment saying I have no idea what I'm talking about, without giving an example, is foolish. You are most likely delusional and your opinion is worthless.

  • @OutsideTheEdge

Alright so if you saw a Taliban soldier raping an inocent 15 year old girl you would let him go? And then he was the one to blow up your best friend in the world with an IED? And then you had the chance to kill him (again) you would let him go? Or would you show him "mercy"

  • @paintball234969 Your questions are so stupid I won't even answer them. Also, I doubt you have even done any military servcie.

Ok, just looked at your profile, 15, that says it all.

  • @OutsideTheEdge "service"

  • @OutsideTheEdge Ya your right i have never been in the military, yet. But i have talked to many vets and thats what they said they have seen.

  • @paintball234969 As you are young, I understand why you say what you say and I won't be mean. If you wish to buy into the brainwashing that the ruling elite and their puppet political parties are spoon feeding the general population, thats up to you. I still remember the chant one sargent used to get us to yell, KILL! RAPE! PILAGE! BURN! Good, upstanding Canadians, rofl. Good luck with whatever you do.

  • @OutsideTheEdge what are you talking about... No mercy is just a way to hype up the troops, its a training exercise...... someone from the U.K calling Canadians puppets?? last time i checked Canada did not follow the U.S into a war in Iraq unsanctioned by the U.N.

  • @Unterstutzungsfeuer That would be Daniel Ingram, if I do recall. Believe it or not, he also composed all the music for a show about technicolor ponies, if you know what I mean. The range and talent of Danny is absolutely insane, and it's such a shame that he's so underrated.

  • who here wants to die. haha

  • Can't wait to join the army and fire that c7

  • does any one know were i can watch this online i have looked and cant find it anywere i had it but lost it this morning so if you know plz inbox me? thanks alot looks interesting and is this regular infantry or CSOR?

  • @rugbystar2009 regular infantry. 3 RCR likely. CSOR wouldn't need to do this since they're special forces.

  • K, so here is a random question. The guy at 0:42 has a rifle with a black scope, and a slighly different body.

Anyone else think this resembles a G36?

  • @lotrhalo im pretty sure it is a mcmillan TAC-50. if you pause it at the right time you can see the forward mounting legs and its got a long scope on it... thats my guess anyway

  • @nezzy14 I looked around, and asked some people, and the answer we came up with was it is a C7CT. Which I had never heard of before, but if you look it up, it looks pretty awesome.

  • @lotrhalo i have never heard of it either... makes alot more sense to see it with a platoon... thanks for lettin me know :) and ya. it does look pretty sick.

  • @lotrhalo its just a c7 with a longer range scope it looks like.. ya im pretty sure just a c7 with a scope and bipod

  • @gav624 Not just a C7. It is a C7Ct, which is some accurate version of the C7, and it is more tactical.

  • i love this show. the canadians just seem like such nice guys.

  • hmm................interesting.

  • 0:42 is that guy a platoon marksman?

  • @JohnMarsto2011 We go by last names.....

  • Can officers become CCT?

  • @MaryBeth321123 Yes. They are called Special Tactics Officers

  • what are these guys? rangers?

  • @ehopkins12 canadian forces, more than likely PPCLI, light infantry.

  • @luciusthegod fraid that they're 3rcr. look closely

  • @luciusthegod you can tell by their cap badges that they're not PPCLI, they're RCR

  • @ehopkins12 Regular Infantry with the training of a US Army Ranger

  • @LandForceCommand @ehopkins12 @luciusthegod

Canadian Forces, trained by other CF.

3rd Royal Canadian Regiment, M-Coy, 1Platoon. Airborne Infantry.

  • @ehopkins12 no they re Canadian soldiers

  • This is like Canadian Forces censored

  • @2pacalypse25 you dont get discovery?

  • @viper10011 i have discovery. but i got shaw on demand and its on one of the channels i dont get.

  • I really love Kavan Smith's narrations, but even he couldn't make me buy this DVD set because the show is very hard to watch (for me). I hope he'll do some other documentaries than Combat School, Jetstream and Uganda Rising in the future.

  • Comment removed

  • Poor guy, movies ruin everyones perception of reality.

    Go Canadians Bad Asses!!! >.<

OMFG!! But Kavan Smith narrating is sexy as hell!!!!

  • Holy shit! Canadians are bad-ass!

  • last week i watched it on youtube, and now it's gone..........

  • I brought this on DVD, Canadian army rules!

  • @TheCrushpanzer where did u buy it!!

  • @xboxguy0105 I brought it from Papernyfilms . com

  • No mercy, No mercy. Out

  • This series is a joke. I watched it. Have soldiers learnt nothing? It is all too casual and not being taken seriously. The problem is simple. Canada has never suffered defeat. We in New Zealand know about war. We did suffer many defeats. We take war very very seriously. The same happened in my experience in Vietnam. The US soliders never took exercises seriously. They also are used to only victories.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger

    1) What exactly was a 'joke?' I also watched the series and I found two things. (a) The length of the series was not enough to give a good depiction of actual training. (b) Because there was a camera crew in their face, I think the soldiers were often undisciplined. I.E. They were allowed to talk when usually they wouldn't because a camera man asked him to say something.

I think it's PR to make kiddies more attracted to the Forces, and thus increase enrollment.

  • @hobbes71002

    2) If one nation has never lost a war, and another has lost several times, why do you assume the one that has never lost is the faulty one? My logic would switch that around.

We do take war very seriously in Canada. You know, war has claimed a great number of Canadian lives and families. What makes you think NZ has any right to say they know more of the hardships of war than Canadians?

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Dude... CF Soldiers arnt like this i have been in Afghanistan. Its because of the Camera Crew. And we have lost Canadian lives in Afganistan RIP

  • @PcGamerPaul I can imagine it is not like this. Some ideas:

    1) Always treat training seriously - in a live situation its too late

    2) Keep a low profile - stay away from ridgelines, paths etc.

    3) Learn to map read, about grid, mils etc.

    4) Basic infantry skills are first and foremost

    5) Learn from the enemy. They know the local terrain and the traps.

    6) Most important - learn to act alone - your buddies may be wiped out.

    7) Watch out for bobby traps - especially in enemy rubbish pits

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Yes i like the ideas BTW i will try to follow the last tip XD goodnight man

  • @PcGamerPaul Yes. That is one I can remember from Vietnam days. The Vietcong used to dig up the rubbish pits after a unit had vacated. You can find out a lot of information from the rubbish. Our Maori soliders used to booby trap the rubbish, and this caught them out a lot!

The Vietcong were also clever, and had a few good tricks also.

American units walked along paths and clearing, which were avoided like the plague. They lost a lot of men in this way, unfortunately.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger the show is extremely polished, some buddies went over. The show was meant to attract people, if they showed what they really do in training, A. the enemy has youtube and B. less people would want to go into the military. so every military training video you see is censored.

  • @Freepepsi42 I guess times have changed. People used to want to get into the stores units. To be a staff sergeant in stores was as good as it got! Our hero was Sergeant Bilko. Today people seem to want to do combat. In the old days, the smart solider avoided unpleasant things like combat - people get hurt, bruises and things! Generals like Patton knew how the army ran - supplies were all important!

  • somebody gotta help me. WHere can i watch or download this serie ?¿ for free, sure.

    THanks it better in spanish.

  • Buy it.

Our soldiers are dieing overseas. At least you could pay for the DVDs.

  • Two reasons.

I'd pay but I dont pay for videos that I can watch on my TV. Anyway, all my respect to all soldiers there, from any countries

  • private diplaros, RIP brother. i will pick up were you left off. we all miss you and will never forget your sacrifice

  • They're canadians.

  • does anyone no where i can buy the dvd i stores i don't like buying stuff online

  • @shooked1 check HMV, this seris is old, the only place i've seen it is discovery channel store (online)

  • "who here wants to die"?? what a dumb ass question, must be an officer.

  • no he did that cause the platoon kept on fucking up, not operating properly. he gave them a reality check speech.

  • LOL

  • that made me laugh

  • weeks630- he was giving the platoon shit for not doing things properly as that platoon was falling behind on their skills for deployment in Afghanistan. In other words, "Get your shit together and you will live"...and yes he is an offcer, Major to be exact and he is doing his job properly, making sure his men and women are properly trained prior to deployment, if it means giving them shit...it means just that.

Watch the series, its actually pretty good...has some US ties to it too.

  • i saw an episode when they were killing taliban but canadian taliban disguise why are they shooting at same team! wtf? killing for training what!!??

  • they're not using real bullets no one is being killed. They have sensers on the to tell them when they've been hit. Same thing as laser tag

  • @unavalible45 unless they are using simunition...

  • They where not shooting them with real bullets you fucking idiot. They are blanks you moron. Its TRAINING. They simulate "death". If someone points there gun at you and it goes "bang" you're "dead" and have to lay down for the rest of the excercise. They use actors for the "taliban" to add realism... they aren't actually shooting people. There has only been one episode so far where they engage the enemy in REAL weapons fire fights.

  • je me souviens tabarnaque!

  • This is what i do baby! Hua!

  • I think this series will be pretty awesome

  • Watched the first episode yesterday, pretty awesome but there should be more intense challenges! =D

  • You have to remember, they can't show everything...there are certain things we won't see, they won't be allowed to air

  • Maybe ill see them around pembroke!

  • i wana watch this so bad

  • I am really looking forward to this show!
