  • are these real bodies?............

  • @ayesha8421 yes this are real bodys

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOO UGLYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • perfect..........

  • wow

  • Beautiful.

  • this one is wayyy better than the bodies exhibit i went to

  • for the record it has nothing to do with any religious beleifs, im a christian too

  • i think narrow minded people would find this unpleasant, but at the end of the day the artist is making medical science understandable to the layman. we have the body snatchers of the Victorian period supplying bodies to doctors for exploration to thank for the knowledge we have now of human anatomy (as well as the doctors of course) and all these people gave full permission before they died with a state of mind adequate to make informed decisions. grow with the times or get left behind

  • Ancient Roman humanist artists would be so fucking proud. :D

  • j'abite a METZ (france)

  • very cool..love it!

  • are these bodies donated to science? or graveyard robbed bodies.

  • @sarge6925 I believe their is a option when you are getting a drivers licence, to be a donor. Mostly for organs though than this, but this is possibility.

  • @sarge6925 lol they are not robbed, they are donated, These bodies are from a museum that I don't remember the name of but you could find it on google.

  • the predator is masturbating right now

  • People realize that folks will DONATE their bodies to this kind of stuff, right?

  • wait.....those bodies are...REAL?

  • @silverraven360

thats the point all of these bodies are real even the human ones

  • This video and with the music is really good. I am doing my final essay on dissection and would like to add this to my power point, can I ask how I would do this?

  • I think this video is great, completing my final essay on Dissection wanting to add this to my final power point presentation? The music and the video is great

  • Come on, guys! Human body is such a sophisticated thing!

Did you ever know, the bones would be three times as strong as steel if they had the same density.

It's a pity that there's a nation, that can only kill the innocent. Know what i'm sayin'?

  • So, what's the ethical dilemma?

  • where did you get the music from? a little disturbing, but very nicely done. kudos ;)

  • ewwww they just legally skin dead bodies and play with them... sick

  • I have to admit, the plastination process is quite fascinating. There is no smell and the bodies have the consistency and durability of a plastic toy. The natural tissue colors dont come through so the bodies are painted afterwards.

  • this is so horrible

my friend told me these are real human been

scared the crap out of me

  • come on, where do you people think we would be in the world now if the human body wasn't fully explored, sure there may be great illustrations on the web, but how do you think that people learned how to correctly portray those illustrations.

  • WOW! what's it made?

this is way better than the wax museum in NY! XD

  • Auhgg, so gross! But I do believe it's helped the world medicially

  • looks like the exhibition / moving museum of the 'the bodies'.

  • @1kash123

i think it is the exhibition

  • duhh

  • The exhibit that came to our city had a skeleton with humerus bones that were reversed. That's been fixed, as I understand.

These displays are good for the general public to learn a bit about anatomy and physiology, but if you are studying at a collegiate level, please take it all with a grain of salt, so to speak. The "dissections" also contain a fair amount of artistic sculpture, IMO, to make them look pleasing.

I say this with personal experience, as a pre-med student in a dissection lab.

  • This is so horrible :(

  • If you think you're gonna learn from this. Just no! There are great illustrations of the human body on the web. Look at these if you're interested (which is actually great!) But please don't go to these body worlds "exhibitions" because this has nothing to do with learning about the human body!

  • i think we are related to aliens cuzz we look like them without skin -_- xx

  • who knows what the music is? i want know author of this song :) p.s. good job!!

  • I was at the Bodies museum, it was interesting,to see the how awesome we are . They told me that most of these bodies are from China and are mostly people who have died with out any identification ,John and Jane does. Some are donated by the person themselves who ask for that request before death of coarse.. .

  • SICK

  • Why on earth someone would donate his body to this purpose? Making art pieces out of anatomy makes me think about the making of a mad scientist in a horror movie. It's twisted and disturbing.

  • @Ghaladh well, to be honest, I would definitely give my body to something like this. It isn't disturbing. It's beautiful.

  • Isn't it ironic? Those rigid bags of flesh obtain some value after all.

  • I was wondering where China's political prisoners and dissenters went to. Interesting how the authenticity is more of a discussion than the identity, cause of death and consent to be displayed of these Chinese unknowns. If an American corpse was displayed in the US without documentation of it's identity, cause of death and consent to be displayed, would there not be legal recourse? Should we not hold international corpses to the same standards?

  • @Amatt02

I agree. It is shameful that these shows are allowed to proceed given the controversy and undocumented source of the Chinese bodies.

  • @Amatt02 No because it doesn't matter if it's not American.

  • If this is so "right and educational"why is their spooky music playing in the background?I also doubt that all of the bodies were "donated".this just plays to peoples morbid curiosity about death.Im also curious about the body and like the study of it,but their is a certain air of disrespect that permeates this exhibit.coudnt you learn from a corpse without having it do a hand plant?

  • @watcher2253 I guess. But then you cant see which muscles and tendons are being flexed during these motions.

  • If this is so "right and educational"why is their spooky music playing in the background?I also doubt that all of the bodies were "donated".this just plays to peoples morbid curiosity about death.

  • No matter how you look at it its still just a cemetary.

  • The Bodies absolutely real. The proceture to prepare the bodies like this is called plastination. The inventor of these proceture is an german anatomist named Dr. Gunther von Hagens. He do a show called bodyworlds (German: Körperwelten). There you can see this platinated bodies. He also plastinates animals, like an gorilla, a elephant, a giraffe and so on. Donators donates they bodies in livetime to von Hagens.

  • there not real boddies

  • what i would give to see this exhibit, absolutely amazing

  • what the name for them bodies?

  • beautiful art

  • I saw the first Body Worlds, it inspired a tremendous sense of awe.

I also had a hand injury at the time and when I arrived at the hand section of the exhibit I was able to compare my hand with the hands on display and could see which muscle was protruding from my hand. That was amazing.

I would recommend everyone to go see Body Worlds, it is absolutely fantastic.

  • It's very detailed, but sooo weird!

  • what has the human kind have done to these people. they were once human too.....

  • @XxEndlingxx Organizations like this one who create these displays are not for the faint of heart, and they are not to mock or create anything disrespectful about them. All of these bodies were donated to science, and then they do various displays to show the muscles, organs and other various tissues (except skin) in what would be, normal daily life functions. This is most usually for educational purposes. I have seen one of these displays and i learned so much from it. Try and go see one.

  • valbuenium is a rapist!

  • OMG. I need all of this in my flat! :D AAAH. Like, now? :D Pre-Med student hereeee! :D

  • Muy Artístico!

  • ``me too..

  • what are the red stringy things on the body @ 2:01? and do they use real eyeballs?

  • @fxckthafreeworld No they dont cause the didnt find a way to plastinate eyeballs yet. the eyes of the plastinated bodies are made out of glass.

  • circulatory system, you know all those arteries and veins :)

  • @fxckthafreeworld Those are most likely veins between the muscles and the human skin.

  • These are incredible. I went last year and was so fascinated by how incredible this was. My nana has put her name down to be made like one of these when she dies.

Wouldn't really want to see my nana up there on a podium to be honest!!

  • suck them titties, get me sum dust

  • Reminds me of the movie "Anatomy".

  • i want a girl one so i can have sex with it

  • @BMXBOBO okay....um....wow. So do you realize how much trouble you can get into for even saying something like that????? Not to mention how gross and disturbing that is. Very unfortunate that we have people such as yourself in this world. Its people like you that make the rest of us want to lock our children away so they never have the unfortunate experience of meeting someone such as yourself. I recommend you get a psychiatric evaluation as soon as possible.

  • @richsbabygirl27 lighten up ffs

  • Dr.Gunther van Hagens invented the technique known as plastination. The bodies water and fat are repalced by synthetic plastic polymers. Pretty amazing, prevents the speciman from decaying. Must be pretty surreal for people seeing people they know in the exhibit. Better than seeing a putrefying mess I suppose.

  • @xAsThePalacesBurnx

So wait these are real people!? Oh damn... looks like bacon.

  • creepy shit...

  • ok i wa thinking why whould you do that to your own kind until i saw that womans breast then i said i want one lol "with skin please"lol jk

  • Yes, they are real bodies.

  • If I had a recently deceased twin brother I would pay to have this procedure done to him. I would want to purchase him and have him posed in my living room. Talk about a conversation piece.

  • im tinking of donating my body to cryogeics or this

  • It is not alien is us inside, good know ourselves

  • i can understand why some people love this and find it fascinating but it is too alien and macabre for me, im very glad that people have found such enjoyment from this and that the scientific world in general has benefited from this

  • horribil sheeet

  • The human body is truly amazing...

  • former political prisoners

  • am I the only one who's thinking that americans are obsessed with religion?

  • @lejusdorange Religion has nothing to do with it. Quite the opposite really. Its all for scientific benefit. It helps educate the public and train our future doctors. If people did not donate their bodies to science we would not have near as many answers as we do today pertaining to the cures and treatments of illness and disease. Furthermore, our doctors would not have proper training on how to save our lives.

  • @richsbabygirl27 I already know that... I was only saying that some (or many) comments from american on this kind of videos are 'omg nooooo god will punish them" etc. I really agree with what you are saying. I'm thinking about giving my body to science.

  • @lejusdorange ???????

  • I have to say, that is quite amazing...

  • It's called plastination, retards.

  • this is in no way any education but an individual's claim to fame in name of "education".

We owe to those deceased, that we respect their remains and use it in "real education" with respect instead of fancy shows.

Dissection is education when it is done by students of anatomy in a dissection hall for purpose of understanding human anatomy.

  • @benshehzad

There is no shortage of cadavers for medical students to dissect.

What is your basis for the statement that the deceased body should be respected?

A deceased person, i.e. dead flesh has none of the qualities of a living person, he cannot feel pain, express feelings, he has no intelligence and cannot even metabolize; he is not alive.

This whole idea with respecting the dead body is one of the reasons there is a shortage in organs for organ transplantation and the reason many die.

  • @getpagesize

well no one said anything about not donating kidneys to others.

but anyways whatever makes you happy.

you sound like an aetheist (I am not saying there is something wrong with that though. Its your life. live it anyway you want. I was just thinking aloud. sorry if I offended you in anyway.)

  • is this from Dorling Kindersley? :O

  • kind cool and disturbing..

  • where can be seen, wow

  • Exhibition of real human bodies......Where this world's going now.?!

  • amanzing !!!!!

  • Oooo...Fragonard.

  • i find it koool

  • wow

  • yes

  • they r real human

    but after death

as much as i know german anatomist gunther von hagens but born in poland

this bodies r plastinated mening they interduce some chemical like silicon

  • they force acrylic into the body (with a lot of pressure) i beleive, it turns it into more of a plastic, and allows it to last forever without decomposing

  • Being an "attraction to me would fall on the lines as exhibits found @ state fairs but as an "exhibit" for those of the public who would want to view this is very awesome, especially for school children who may be interested in the medical field or those who could become interested after seeing such an educational thing. And I pray to God these are people who intended to donate their body for a scientific cause & not otherwise. Either way, God bless all of them!

  • this isn't science....it's more like a sick art!! But this is my opinion...

  • yeah the chemical frezzes them

  • I am an anatomy/medical student. I think the body is a beautiful thing but I think its sad that these people are chopped up like this. I don't know the conditions in which these bodies were donated but I hope these people were not expecting their bodies to go towards the great cause of science and we aware of being an "attraction."

  • it is a great cause, its educating everyone that sees it, how else would you be able to see the human body in such a way?

  • I want one...

  • @Valbuenium Sick¡¡¡¡

  • @Valbuenium

yes, of corse you can have one if you have enough money. Gunther von Hagens allready sells some tiles of his collection. But it's very expensive. I think a small slice of an human chest was on 10.000 euro. Complete body parts are much more expensive. I forgot to say, you can only buy one if you're a teacher or a education facility like university or something like that.

  • it's called "plastacine" it's like a mix of rubber and plastic. just beautiful what he does with it

  • wouldn't that smell really bad?

  • nah the polymer mixture, keeps it odourless luckily lol

  • Nope. I saw the exhibit and there was no smell at all.

  • the bodies here are real. the reson why the look so hard is because they skin the bodies and poke holesin it and then dip the bodies in a chemical that will make their body hard like plastick. after that they pose the bodies in playfun poses. so yeah... these bodies are real.

  • seriously?

  • @skimnaruto101 lol house of wax

  • @skimnaruto101 ya from the black market

    just sick

  • @skimnaruto101

    Actually nobody "pokes holes"

Here's a link to a wikipedia page which gives a more accurate outline of how it's done.

Even then the process is often adapted to suit the specific needs of the project, but it gives a more accurate overview than "poking holes"

  • Oh hey... It's Body World.

It's really cool, but i'd suggest going on a day with no field trips if you can. Middle Schoolers are annoying.

  • Yes we are

  • where is the musium

  • i've seen it...very real

  • these are real bodies, right?

  • no man .. i think they are artificial

    it looks solid

  • sorry to break it to you but majority of these are real.. some are iffy but theres deffinently some that are real!...they may look solid but they have special techniques/chemicals to keep them upright like that.. amazing isnt it

  • no its real they go through a process to turn the bodys liquids into plastic to prevent decaying

  • Ive never seen a sexeyer ballet shoe.....

    This is awsome

  • skary shitt....human body is amazing..

it proves that god is a perfectionist..ONLY HE IS PERFECT...how he created things

  • if he is such a perfectionist why are humans so flawed? hmm?

  • holy shit.

that's all i'm gonna say and ever will say.

  • this is really cool. i went to the exhibit and it was awesome...something you definitely need to see if it comes to a city near you!

  • the skateboarder is effing cool.

  • the name of the man who makes those exhibitions is dr Gunther Von Hagens!

Anybody who liked it can check his site out!

    Unbelievable work!

  • amazing

  • work van the devel

  • cool@:)

  • anatomy and physiology 101! lol

  • i am scared......

  • I liked the last one

  • este extraordinar, corpul omenesc este intradevar cea mai bogata inginerie

  • wow.. coool

  • it`s the most amazing exposition that I ever seened
