It amazes me how many people defend this. They honestly believe that we're someone "self righteous". I'm really sick of that and the people who say we don't know what we're talking about just because we're civilians. Iraq had/has nothing to do with the terrorist attack anyway, so what's the point? Especially when torture can give faulty information. People "confessed" to being werewolves and witches under torture, for pete's sake.

Before you call someone a meathead, consider - if you'd abandon principles and values to obtain your safety it means terrorism has already won. Abandoning one's values for "safety" is the most defining characteristic of a coward. Think. Consider your words. Or take the lyric "Home of the Brave" & throw it out the window the minute we allow our government to torture.
