Yeah, the main reason I use it is to just surprise opponents. It's good for a mid-air stall if someone is charging a smash as well. I love it whenever someone tries to do a ledge attack as they come up and I block it with Toad...such a nice feeling.
For some reason,
I can never seem to anticipate when to use toad, so i refrain from using him much. I am learning though.

Thx is a smart Mario player. Not many people use Mario/Luigi's fireball attacks a lot.

But yea you are right. I surprise my opponents with it though. They'll never expect it if they think you are helpless and you pull it off =p
