ford put all the best drive train parts in those late 70s trucks.

me myself would love a 77 4x4 3/4ton.

i have a very bad back and the suspension (coil springs) make for a nice ride.

they are also very aesthetically pleasing to look at.

the choice of engines was great, i have had a 78 bronco with a 460, that was one powerful truck for mudding and sand dune running.

but with the price of gas these days i would rather have a nice 400 tork monster.
