  • not a tornado its just wind from the heavy rain dragging the air causes strong wind if u take a water hose and mist it into a bucket u feel wind blowing in ur face if it was a tornado some of the trees would be snapping off and u would see rotation

  • Actually the smaller trees have a much smaller surface area to catch the wind. Therefore the larger trees should be blowing much faster, right??

  • no tornado there

  • @higbull i know i didnt see 1

  • r u inside the tornado if so awsome!!

  • @rockawear51 If he was inside the tornado he wud be thrown around bc winds for an F1 are like 70-115 mph

  • cade o tornado

  • highly doubt this was an F1 tornado...that little tree wouldn't even stand a chance

  • Its funny how the big trees are moving like crazy and that little one is like dancing

  • F1..... Moderate damage. Peels surface off roofs; mobile homes pushed off foundations or overturned; moving autos blown off roads. Sorry, this might be an F0, but I doubt it was an F1

  • @Akpk3r you stole from peels surface of roofs to blown off roads straight from a website that you googled you cud get arrested for that ya jackass

  • Not even close to F1 winds, if it was , those trees and roofs would be torn up.

  • I live in harford county lol i remember this cause i swear i saw a funnel cloud in the sky

  • this is fake...there's probably a large fan in the backround like the kind you find in the movies.

  • F1? not hardly.

  • more like a F0 DUHHHH

  • is this fallston? fallston always gets hit hardest with tornado threats

  • @geegooman2323 last 2 days they were giving tonado warning and i live in maryland, fallston i hate when they say that because we never get the accual tornado just thunder storms.

  • scary :D

  • I don't think this is a tornado, on clue it the raid, tornados form at the rain free base near the back of the thunderstorm. you were most likly in the center of the downdraft of out flow. this is called a downburst!

  • Nice storm video!!!

  • When we lived in Upper Marlboro, we had a confirmed tornado come through in June 1996. It was about an F0 - F1 at the most. Not nearly as strong as La Plata or College Park, but strong enough for us! It was really scary!

  • There may be a tornado nearby, but not in the video.

  • Il ive in Harford County, Maryland and eventhought I have been very lucky to never have seen a tornado in my area. But I the day if it ever happens if i ever see a damn funnel cloud.

  • this looks like 40 - 50mph straight line winds, not an F1 tornado.....although that doesn't mean an F1 didn't spawn from this system

  • F0 tornado winds, probably

  • This seems to be what they call a Microburst which can be confused with an EF0 or EF1 tornado. You can tell what it is by the way the wind only comes from one direction, hince 'strait line winds'. Tornado winds will come from one direction at first but as they pass it changes dramatically, also tornadoes pass faster than a minute. This was obviously a Microburst.

  • I live here, National Weather Service confirmed a tornado. This was under a mile from my house.

Can't go off of a YouTube video buddy.

  • Sometimes they classify Microburst damage with tornado damage as well. I've seen tornadoes, and I've also seen Microbursts. They can happen together and it is very common in HP Supercells to have Wet Microbursts, many people confuse them with tornadoes. I am actually going to school for Meteorology.

  • Going to school, vs. People from the National Weather Service that surveyed damage... Trust me, not to shut you down but they're right.

  • If I am wrong then the winds shown here are RFD winds. depending on if they were blowing away from the tornado or towards.

  • iv lived thru 3 tornados and one was just a couple days ago tornados are fucking awsome and i love it but hey thats me pussys

  • so scared tornado hit down near my house tornado sirens are blowing also. AHHHHH not EVEN JOCKING!! what i dont unnderstand is why im looking up tornados when there is one. OMG SO SCARED PEACE hope i survive.

  • There may have been a tornado in the area but these winds are probably from the storm that spawned it.

  • Where is it.

  • actually its called rainwrapped torando they do excist and they said it was a mile from there house and any torando warning i dnt careif its a f1 f0 shit im taking cover...

  • I LIKE IT .

  • Actually F1 tornadoes can lift people up. They have done so. Roofs can be severely stripped and even completely torn off if they are poorly connected. Trees can snap and even be uprooted. Even an F0 can be dangerous.

  • Alright, there is no way this can be a tornado. First off, rain doesn't happen during a tornado. Since its only wind, the rain would go back up into the atmosphere and stay in the cloud until at least 30 minutes after a tornado because it would have to re-form. F1 tornadoes aren't very powerful. This is just a wind storm type of thing.

  • @BeMyFallenOne Technically you're correct.. A tornado can become rain-wrapped, which occurs when the rear-flank downdraft (RFD) basically grabs the rain and sucks it further towards where the rotation and Rain Free Base (RFB) is, wrapping the rain around the tornado itself, thereby making it much less visible (sometimes a rain-wrapped tornado is not visible at all), and very dangerous.

  • Did yall get any damage?

  • that aint no f1 tornado thats barely f0

  • F1 tornadoes are dangerous although classified as weak... the winds can reach hurricane force!

  • guys stop

  • the title is misleading. Thanks for your shitty video, douchebag.

  • my cusin that lives in maryland his house got destroyd in a ef 3 tornado in mount airy

  • looks like just straight line winds to me

  • I wish someone got actual footage of it though, its very rare around here to see a tornadoe

  • I remember this, I live about 45 mins from there.

  • It looked like it was impossible for a tornado to hit because all of the wind looked like it was just blowing one way therefore it wouldn't have been able to process a funnel.

But otherwise it looked like a great wind n rain storm!

  • Read The Title : TORNADO "WINDS" and the info cleary states that touchdown was a mile down the road.

  • F1 torndo is really fun to go out and play.

  • i didn't see a tornado

  • Read The Title : TORNADO "WINDS" and the info cleary states that touchdown was a mile down the road. Maybe you didn't see that either.

  • haha i love how ppl are trying to drive in that!! im guessing thats a rather busy street right there...there were quite a few cars on it

  • I live in Cecil Co, across the river and this one in particular had us FREAKED OUT!

  • i live in harford county and the fire whistles kept going off

  • f1 tornadoes really dont do any thing

  • i live in RI and it's very rare for us to get them in this part of the country. We got an F1 a few days ago. I had no idea we were in for a nasty storm. I didn't listen to the radio or turn on the TV before it hit. When it hit the winds and rain did remind me of a hurricane. I had no idea one passed through until after the storm when my mother asked if I had heard that it was a tornado. It was kinda cool and scary at the same time!

  • lol people are just driving by anyways

  • looks like a hurricane

  • I was at summer camp at Broad Creek in the northern part of the county that day, and we had to take shelter in the building at our campsite.

  • we had 5 seperate reports of funnel clounds in the belair, forest hill, level area on 06/10/08. At east west and rockspring tornado came through golf ball sized hail, debris flying across the road at me. Get ready for more storms this summer

  • I live in Forest Hill and our power went out from the June 10 storm.

  • in maryland, were having a severe thunderstorm again...

we like never used to have this weather crap, but now heat waves and all are regular here....

  • nice global warming pitch - heat waves have been around forever, even in Maryland

  • @MDATVRIDER yea and so is 20ft of snow lol

  • dumbass.. torandoes arent always funnel looking things

  • i remeber that, that was cool and scary at the same time

  • I didnt see a tornado. it just looked extremely windy, thats all.

  • up close and personal, it wouldnt look like a tornado. you have to remember they can get to be a few hundred meters across. In a forest all you would see is wind and trees tearing a part. its possible you wouldnt see the funnel at all. especially if its rainwrapped.

  • ...but im going to have to agree with italian. i really dont see anything other then normal gusts from a thunderstorm. no debris, no condensation funnel, no dust cloud. nothing. its just wind.

  • Read The Title : TORNADO "WINDS" and the info cleary states that touchdown was a mile down the road.

  • @MDATVRIDER Your acting like a gerk.

  • Read The Title : TORNADO "WINDS" and the info cleary states that touchdown was a mile down the road.

  • Forgive me old boy, I'm terribly sry, guess I didnt read the title.

  • Read The Title : TORNADO "WINDS" and the info cleary states that touchdown was a mile down the road.

  • Thats some serious wind for an EF1 tornado being a mile away! Not saying that I don't believe you! The wind is just crazy!

  • I live around frederick, I remember a several years ago when I was little, the entire sky was pitch black! My brother looked outside and said he saw a larger black funnel on the ground, our kitty pool sucked straight out of our yard and rolled down the street, we were never hit, at the time we lived on the north side of the city. But later I was told there was quite a lot of damage. Thanks for the vid

  • F1 tornadoes are dangerous although classified as weak they can like get small damage to break bigger damage etc... and the winds too they reach hurricane force!

  • I live there. traumatized me D:

  • i live in kingsville, about 4 miles away and my grandmother development was hit pretty good by that tornado. a lot of down trees

  • I live in Montgomery county and 4 and a half years ago, I was coming back from pennsylvania and it was storming real hard then I looked out the window and saw a big black tornado but didn't touch down. Even to this day, I still remember the plot of land the tornado could of touched down but now it seemed if the field had turned into a public garden. Oh yes, this was around the Clarksburg/Boyds area off 270.

  • in maryland its rare for us to get tornados thats why i love maryland

  • damn!!! was that th one that hit fallston? i am right up the road in forest hill.

  • Yes,, Fallston.

  • is that were hereford high school is

  • no hereford is in baltimore county. this is harford county, hence the title.

  • good video

  • nice. send some of this up our way please. :-)

  • this only lasted a few minutes,,, MD is in a bad drought,,, so we need the rain too
