@sizzlnm3 Hi. I heat 3q oil 2 200F & pour in bkt. Heat 2nd batch ditto. Heating cooks off any h20. Mix w/room temp oil 2 give 4+ g. As system is open 2 atm., the now 140F oil passes through 10mic fltr as fine mist evaporating any remaining h20. Building 5mic fltr now.
Been running this in converted 2 tank 240d 4 30K now, & mix 50/50 in unconverted 300SD. Same powr as Dino, I change filters every 3K as precaution. I'm in SF, r U in SD?
Ur vid is AWESOME! Finishing up my pilot's lic:) R U pilot?
@Begbucks Hi. Sorry 4 such a long delay. Yes it dewaters this way: I heat 3q oil 2 200F in fryer & pour in bkt. Repeat. Heating cooks off any h20. Mix w/room temp oil 2 give 4+ g. As system is open 2 atm., the now 140F oil passes through 10mic fltr as fine mist evaporating any remaining h20. Building 5mic fltr now.

Ur channel is great.Did U buy a van? If so, what & why?
@nospinfitness No problem So you still have to use heat & electricity. Hmm...not so good. especially if in the bush, I was hoping that the filter element would take care of that.
@Begbucks Oh, it'll work fine w/o heat, 10min+/gal@70F. I prefilter 2 50mic b4 10mic. The height of the column=12",DIA=9.75" gives enough pressure & makes all the difference. Whether Centrifuge, electrical pump/canister unit, or KissFilter; heat reduces viscosity 2 speed the process & help dewater. Can't change Vegoil properties.
U can heat w/solar still/panels/parabolics. In the summer sun (Calif), oil reached 110F; that's 4-5min/gal, still boring.
How is the stainless steel mesh mounted to the plastic column???

How do you deal with water in the WVO with this system?

Does this also dewater? How fine will it filter down to (In microns)
