Yeah, they are both signed for 6 seasons, but Kripke has stated a few times lately that this is the final season.

He has also been talking about a new show.. so to speak. It's Supernatural, based around different people.

Yeah,jensen....we(I!) wanted the brothers to be together and fight evil...that`s what I thought...*sighs* I like the suspense,it`s all about drama when there is some issues between them and all but I am really longing for some brotherly moments.I don't care if they fight against each other for a while,it`s exciting and all - but in the end I really hope they would be all "bitch-jerk" again. Or at least like the brothers we used to know at earlier seasons.

Actually, both characters and actors are superb, IMHO. Jared prefers dark Sammy because most actors prefer exploring evil roles for the sake of depth -gravitas. There's love but there's conflict too and the opposites must be confronted and healed. I likeI like that. But, I wonder, Jensen is pretty clear on how he prefers the brothers together and stuff. What if Dean has to really hunt or kill Sammy ( acording to the hints given, which may or may not be true)? he would hate it! *lol*

I honestly haven't really noticed that Dean gets more attention on the show. I think they just try and show his struggles with his insecurities and self-worth quite often.

1. I agree about the Smallville thing. I have been watching Smallville for years, and I really think they should end it properly. And soon. They could have ended it this season perfectly...I still shudder at that season finale.

2. I have noticed that. It's really interesting that the show leans more towards Dean considering it was originally more about Sam and his struggles. Sam was supposed to be Luke Skywalker; Dean, Han Solo. But I like learning more about Dean. He's really complex.

I had that same thought. I think that Jared likes the conflict and tension because it allows Sam to shine more as a character and earn more face time, while Dean seems to get that either way.
