2-14-68 has the best Dark Star... if you are into this very minimalist version. I have no problem with the 20 minute long masterpieces, but try turning a new Dead fan or someone unfamiliar with their work on to a long Dark Star.... Not only will they not be able to appreciate it, but they will have no concept of what it is and where it may or may not have synthesized. Heavy metal is just dudes in tights with bad haircuts and an affinity towards glitter without Rock & Roll paving the way for them

@MrCraigary123 This is when Dark Star was still in it's infancy.....barely a year old at this time. I've had this show in my Digital Archive for some time now and it's one of my all time favorites. This performance was 2 days before my 1st birthday in fact. ;-)
