  • Thank you so much, great information and demo... I just wish I would have seen your video before I pruned my beautiful peach.

  • Hi there youngshrill you could give some nitrogen to the trees like 34-0-0 or 46-0-0 or even 20-20-20 but small amounts like a handful.

  • very nice very help full nex fall goint to be pruning 2 years old in central florida my need some more tecnics tanks.by tha way trees grow fast in here

  • What is an optimal height for a peach tree? Last season, I had major branch breakage on a tree, I thinned like crazy but it still was overloaded. I need to prune now but am not sure how tall I should leave the tree.

  • I've often passed orchards where they were trimming and wondered how they did it so fast. Now I know. Thanks for the info, I will use it on my trees.

  • Yes in the okanagan bighorn why?

  • are you in the okanogan???

  • I've found your video very helpful... I have one in my backyard here in Austin, Texas and I've been wondering how to do it.... I'M OFF with my pruners!!! Thanks for posting.

  • Very hard pruning now the tree will grow vigorously

  • I noticed that it appears that it's either fall or early spring. Is it okay to prune the tree that aggressively in the middle of the summer?

  • @srulison Hi that pruning was done this year still dormant. You can summer prune hard too it opens up the trees for me light and better bud growth

  • would have been much quicker cutting the tree down with a chain saw

  • Thank you very much.

Definately I will be watching you.

    Best Regards,

    Serbian girl

  • thank you bro. I am jealous you have sooooo much acreage and my father would like to have you for his Son in law:-)

Best wishes my dear hard working!

  • Hi there yes thank for the compliment .I'll have more videos soo so stay tuned bye

  • your pruning will create to many shoots?

you did drastic pruning, way to much?

  • Hello there thank for the comment .Well everyone has there own style of pruning .But if you leave too many shoots you'll be thinning a long time and if you have alot of acreage in peaches then have to save time. So that is why this tree pruned this way.

  • Tearing out the smaller twigs with your hands was surprising to me. I know fruit trees differ from one species to the next, but wouldn't this kind handling damage the bark?

I'm sure this is not the first time you've pruned.
