  • why did u say u would never have this kind of container agian ?

  • the title has so much irony in it T_T

  • Does anyone read the description?

  • @100acebomb NO SO SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • Does anyone read the description?

  • poor fish

  • i love this song, and its on the raidio right now.

  • Do you guys realize a 5 gallon tank from walmart costs less then 20 bucks right? if you cant afford that for your betta. THEN DO NOT GET ONE! simple.. its like saying i have a dog but i am poor i will feed it once a week rather then everyday. NO if your poor, you don't get one! i have had many betta, and i think a 5 gallon thank is minimum!

  • @Doutcastangel I get sick nd tired of ppl like you tellin other Betta owners this! Beginning Betta owners want a kit so they know exactly what they are doing, you get your 5 gallon tank and fill it up with water, but Ill tell you one thing, you better keep an eye on that Betta everyday, check the temperature nd properly treat the water or its gonna die period! alot of us just wanna make sure we are doing everything right so thats why we just go with the kit!

  • @Hilladam161 the kits are not good!!!! that's the problem! yes the fish can die even in the best tank. but it will die for sure in a small little container like that! they call them betta kits, but a betta wont live long in one of them. they lie on the kit. it is not enough for a betta!

  • get a bigga tank buddy thats way to small thats like living in a small closet to us humans.

  • Great fish! I love the colors.

  • Betta: Oh Yippee my tank has a rock in it that looks like shit.

  • the tank is way too small.

  • cool betta

  • hello. love your betta but please save up and adleast get a 5 gallon tank. The lowest price i seen is $25 USD...... that is too small for it to swim as freely as a betta should. And keep watch of the temperture cause bettas are tropical and need warm water. Your betta does not look happy. Please thumbs this up so he may see

  • @macDaddy1118 some people cant afford that big of a tank. You might have a giant tank for your betta but bettas dont need an empty 5 or 10 gallon to themsef. Put some neon tetras or mollies with it. But bettas can live in small conditions. as long as its conditioned and treated its fine. I would prefer 1.5 gallons minimum per betta. If you dont have that much money. not trying to be mean or anything but people cant afford any of that large s*** ok!? so i would prefer 1.5 gallons per betta.

  • @EveryoneLuvzBetaFish actually a lot of time thoe ten gallon betta tanks are a lot cheaper then those betta kits, just sayin..

  • @mrcheekycheeks yeah... i got a ten gallon betta tank kit for only $30.... but it was worth it!! if you can, watch my new video im gonna post Jan. 1, 2012. ! bye!!

  • @EveryoneLuvzBetaFish but i thought u said bettas don't need a 5g or 10 g tank and you ended up getting him a 10g, which Im glad you'll see he'll use every inch of it:) and yea for sure i will check out your video

  • @mrcheekycheeks well thats because my parents found like 50$ in thier closet that was sitting there for about a year so they just got it for me without me expecting it so...

  • i have the same tank

  • nice

  • thats what you think thats to small they need more freedom i know i wouldn't like to be in that you probably wouldn't like that either think about them and how much space they have

  • thats what you think but they dont like being in those small vases they need more freedom i know wouldnt like to be in that i dont think you would either:(

  • I see 6 pairs of antlers on my wall

  • I guess I'm not having anymore Bettas.......

  • @100acebomb i did

  • your mean for keeping the poor betta in that tiny tank without plants

  • @biancanaturelover its okay, I have a betta in a flower vase--- bettas live in really small spaces! I have had my bettas for 3 months and they never had a problum with the vase!

  • @YOVILLE567 its fact thoough, in a vase they will last 6months to a year if you are lucky. Though if they are in a filter heated tank they can like 3-5 yrs. It just like hamsters people used to keep 3 teddy bear hamsters in a small square cage until we got more knowledgable on how to take care of them, in germany it is no illegal to keep hamsters in anything small then a foot long. As time goes on we learn more about exotic pets and how to better care for them:)

  • @YOVILLE567 i meant *in germany it is now illegal to keep a hamster in anything small then a metre long enclosure

  • I'm no betta expert, but I suggest you get Polaris a bigger home than what you have.

  • no tank is too big for any fish, just too small, like this one.

  • Yeah, nice music. Made me aggravated. :L And I'm not sure if that's a good place for that betta to live. The water looks a bit dirty, there's no filtration, hiding places, or even a heater! Well, unless you live in a cold-ish place, then you don't need a heater. But usually my betta are VERY active, and this one is barely moving to how much my betta swim. Sure, they're kept in those containers in stores, but that doesn't mean it's good.

  • but the tank has no hiding places your right on two things

  • you do not need a filter only a heater bettas like stagnent water

  • wheres the filter wheres the heater wheres some plants ? cmon ? thats torture for the poor little guy

  • he is olny a veil tail i have a crown tail

  • I used to have that exact same tank for my betta but then he started going gray and looked sick so I convinced my parents to get me a bigger tank and now I have a 20L tank for him and his colour has returned and he is really happy!

I would advise you to get a bigger tank otherwise your pretty betta fish will probably die. My first one did in a tank that small

The tank doesn't have to be huge just a bit bigger than that.

  • Tanks to small! Bettas need a 2.5 gallon minimum.

  • @wowdirtsA wow they need a huge tank no they dont

  • @devydoo100 No, they don't need a huge tank, just a bigger one than that.

  • @wowdirtsA yeah i agree it is a small tank

  • I have the same tank! :D But i have a plant in the middle and the sand around :D

  • /watch?v=84so7wSF-ak

  • he looks big! how big is your tank?

  • that looks like my fish!

  • you need a bigger tank thats way to small for any fish. polaris is beautiful though!!!

  • Polaris is lovely! but, in a tank that small, daily water changes are really best. but, what bettalover said is very correct! ammonia, when it builds up, burns their fins, scales, and gills, and doesn't make them very happy. if you want him to be REALLY happy, get him at least a 2 gallon, and a heater. then, he'll be so active, and brighten up nicely!

  • Wow, what a pretty betta! :) Just make sure you clean out his water 100% at least 2x a week, okay? Ammonia builds up pretty quickly in tanks that size. :) He's really pretty! Just keep his water nice and clean, and he'll live for ages.

  • @bettalover4evr not 100% you will kill the fish but 50% changes 1s a week and 10% changes per day unless you get a goldfish you can take all the water out but it wont be happythen

  • @fabihanski You're more likely to kill the fish by doing water changes that sparingly as opposed to proper 100%, to be straight up. I do 100% once every 2 weeks on my 3 gallons, and my fish are flourishing, building bubble nests and flaring. :) If you do them correctly and slowly acclimate the fish and get them used to the temperature and new water pH, they will be fantastic. 10% a day is like taking a few gallons out of a swimming pool, it really won't do much.
