The arcane pve spec works with a rotation, you make 2 or 3 arcane blasts, then scorch (or frostbolt if your arc frost) till the debuff has about 1 sec back, then you ab again so you get a fast ab for a low mana cost, and yes in my oppinion being arcane as a pve spec before 2 pieces of t5 is useless..

my guild is currently tryin to get gruul down...any tips? Also i dont understand how u raid with arcane...was kinda interested. Would like to understand why u pick that way.
If you have 2 pieces of t5, arcane is the best DPS spec. I doubt he has 2 pieces of t5, so arcane would do less DPS than fire. But if you have 2 pieces of tirisfal, damage and mana cost of AB is increased by 20%, making it a 1.5 sec cast doing about 1900 dmg normal hit with decent spell dmg.
basically photek ui, have disabled alot of it though. using bartender 3, ctraid(now using ora, prettyer), prat, elkanos buffbar, swstats, ktm threatmeter, ag unitframes, quartz and squeenix.
arcane is nice dps, but i cannot see how you managed to keep up your mana throughout the fight :P AM is like 700+ mana then with AP...ouch...ah well nice anyway
