Russell won jakob lost deal with it it's not just about skill it's also about personality & touching the audience THE FAV DANCER NOT BEST PROFESSIONAL DANCER gosh anyway russell was my fav from the beginning he deserves all he's getting I love it when the underdog wins the ones who would not have been giving a chance in the PROFFESIONAL world of dance so yay russell loving the first krumper winner too was tired of seeing the same things EVERYTIME!! Love the skill and the heart :)

Russell was excellent - but I cannot narrow it down to him - there are so many talented dancers on this show it is unbelievable. Alex this season is incredible and i hope everything goes ok with him because he is so wonderful to watch.

Russell was absolutely amazing on this show! I can't believe that he has not had and formal training yet he NAILED each routine he was in. He was my favorite from the beginning and absolutely blew me away the whole season! Way to go Russell!

In russell's audtion in Boston, he said that he had TRAINING IN BALLET, JAZZ, AND AFRICAN....He deserved to win (IMHO). If you want to here it yourself type in "rus bos" in the youtube search, but the video should be in the related videos section. A lot of people want to act like Russell denied having any training. the producers pushed that theme, and the only time russell denied havingformal training was when he was asked by the judges if he had any formal training besides dance classes

I was satisfied when he said "I just want to thank everybody like soooo much" But then again, it's me that want to thank Russell for reminding me of what it's like to dance for the joy of it.  That smile...he kept on his face throughout the competition was priceless. He's been a pleasure to watch.

well, I have really bad bone spurs on my heel and it is hard to walk sometimes, but I sing also, and the music just really gets me going and I'm excited about it, I don't feel a thing and forget all about that foot - and I was leaping. I believe that when you get a rush of adrelaline like that especially with your emotions, you will be surprised. I believe Russell was for real through the whole seaon, which was one of the best.

All dancers are trained!! Which is how they make it on the show. Russell did deserve to win, not going to argue with that. But it just kinda bugs me how the judges and people make it seem like he hasnt been introduced to any other styles before.Yet one day, he performs on stage w/ pointed feet, doing nice leaps/spins, expressing emotion through movement. During vegas week they are tested on diff styles, no way a dancer can excel on all of them without being semi introduced to them in the past.

to HEYyoPETE, the judges and people made it seem that way because krumping was his favorite style. I live in Boston and Russell graduated from a performing arts school that many people i know go to. They major in ballet tap jazz modern and african. But because he was the first to Krump, people assumed that was all he could do, which was wrong.

I was very disappointed when Jakob did not win. I truly love the way he dances, I get shivers every time. I did not feel that way when russell danced, he got better as time went on I will give him that. I felt he was just doing the steps but I did not believe the emotion. I still congrat russell on his win and wish him luck in the future.

this show picks the correct dancer every OTHER season because Brandon should have won the season before but congrats to Russell he was very consistent this season almost flawless at times

Russell was such a joy to watch. The positive energy in his transformations, his endless devotion on stage was shared by many.

Loved him every moment from beginning to the win.

His smile with each movement invoked the lightness and seriousness of the heart he shares. All that he accomplished was work he never knew. He did it superbly.

Looking forward to seeing more.
