It's a good film that not many people know about. Although the way it ended makes me feel as if there might be another one. But as this film wasn't that commercially successful, I don't think they will bother. It's a really entertaining action movie, similar to I Robot.

i just loooooooooooooooooovvvvvvveeee the genre. Surrogates and I-Robot are two movies I really like that most people think are just so-so. I just love the genre; I look at people with boob jobs, makeup, fake smiles, a million facebook friends, etc... and, although itl's their business, I don't relate and I find it disturbing.

Surrogates was just the same shit with the same ending, they could've at least changed the ending. I deduct major points for a movie who lacks originality. it's not a great movie but it's a okay/nice one, after they took some of the ideas from "I, Robot" and even took James Cromwell as the inventor of the technology it was like what is the difference between those two movies? of course the basic idea is a different, but for me the main different is that I like Will Smith humor and character better than Bruce Willis but as for the main basic idea of Surrogates- I like it.

wow this movie was much better than even i thought. For those of you who havent seen it its like I, Robot meets Minority Report with a splash of the Matrix (only bcuz of how they go in and out of the matrix, much like the surrogates do in real life and in their minds). If you like either of the first 2 movies then this is definitely for u.
