Sorry for the view but that is what you get when you have a hazy day and free help (Dad). Yep not taking this motor over 5000 but I have a real "396" at the machine shop and I feel that things might be different when it gets dropped in. I like the steering wheel, it goes with the bench seat!
I am not a "chevelle SS expert" but from the what I have learned alot of the interior items were options, such as bucket seats, consoles, ect. My car is not for sale so I am not sure why any of this matters anyhow? It is in fact a Malibu factory four speed car that started life with a small block but now has a big block. The guy I bought the car from put the SS badging on it and he was very up front that the car is not a "real" SS.

66 SS Chevelles had walnut steering wheels, it does have the knee knocker tach...lets see the entire car please.
