I'm stoked. I'm coming over to DDO from a MMORPG that I have worked hard on for 4 yrs now. It sucks but it's to where I hate it now. I'm a player who grew up reading a lot of D&D books and did "paper" lol. Which is the best by far still. Anyway, I like the fact that DDO doesn't abandon much of it's core rules like you see and will see other MMORPG's to "sell out" to their subscribers so everybody gets the same shit.=lame.Class specifics are really where it's at. That's what makes it fun.

im assuming levels 21-25 will just boost your damage output and heals. maybe a new spell here and there. i think druid will be a very neat addition to the game but one only some players will find appealing.

I suppose you can think of D&D as little more than a rule set and list of standardized enemies. Campaign settings detail different worlds, their histories, their people, and most other things related to the “lore”. The drow of Eberron are very different than the drow of FR or Greyhawk, for example.

They’re also revamping the enhancement system to use a tree-like interface similar to the one in Rift and introducing “cosmetic pets”. I’m somewhat skeptical about what the enhancement revamp will mean for character customization and I’m not really happy about the pet thing unless their simply referring to re-skins similar to armor kits.

I’m not terribly fond of FR either, but I’m certainly in the minority there.

Im looking forward to new content, I am hoping for a larger raids with 18 player raids where you need to split the group into 2 to accomplish the objective. Not really excited about the new class, it will be fun but I love my fvs's and Sorc. Most pumped about higher level cap, more feats?
