  • when adding acl's do you also need to add in the subnet mask after the ip?

  • @ericvang92 No, what you enter is a wildcard mask after the network. The wildcard mask in an inverse of the subnet mask.

  • How did you manage this? o_O' ip access-group is an unrecognized command here..

    Quick reply. It seems I was trying to do it on a switch and you did it on a router. Is it possible to enable ACL's on a switch? I guess so, because they have a access-list command...

  • @MatvaNabor Yes, this could be done on a Layer 3 switch

  • @omarking56 you might want to look at extended ACLs to do this
