  • Jeebus Crust is the Crust of Crustianity and the reason we celebrate Crustmas. He is the son of Gosh and part of the Holy 3-Some (or Ménage à Trois). Jeebus was born to Bloody Mary, a virgin, by a miracle of the Spirit of Truthiness. The Holy Babble gives an account of an angel visiting Bloody Mary to tell her that she was chosen to bare the Son of Gosh. Jeebus is known as the first Ninja. He is also the first to demonstrate the Ninja stealth ability of turning into a bunny.

  • @9N8X Drop dead, you insolent scum, and go to the eternal nothingness you atheists

    so richly deserve.

  • "Militant atheism"?? Imagine if instead of "In God we trust" it said "in Allah we trust". Christians would go apoplectic with rage. "Militant"? Am I missing something? Are atheists walking around packing heat and threatening "second amendment solutions?" Are atheists murdering doctors and blowing up clinics? Are atheists flying planes into buildings? Are atheists forming militias and threatening judges? Are atheists lying us into wars in the middle east? Who is really "militant?"

  • There are most atheist then people think they just are scared to come out.

  • @SuperMrCRAZYMAN I agree with this. I'm an atheist and I would not dare to let it come out at work. My boss was a fundamentalist, and I know she would have fired me for sure. And apparently it's not against the law either. When I told the wife of my best friend that I was agnostic (I describe myself as an "agnostic-atheist", meaning don't know for sure, but don't believe.) After I admitted this, I haven't seen or heard from them since.

  • @DandAinTac I'm lucky my friends don't mind at all, but I never would dare say that I'm when I try to get a job, and it's like they treat us like were monsters or somthing.

  • most christians are evil damn baby killers

  • As for the money in the us, there is a reason for the saying "the God Almighty Buck" which is the most important thing in the us. I am Norvegian, and in my country I think there are more atheists than christians. -------USA mixes God into everything, even before they attack some country or other. If you all are so godly, start behave like it, and stop killing people and elect idiots for presidents. Like Bush. He had the nerve to make a parkinglot of Irak to find a man in a hole. IN GODS NAME.

  • @TheVidesi actually, new numbers show that about 70% of the norwegian population have some sort of theistic worldview.

  • lol, talk about selective statistics. That study they quoted that atheists were the least trusted group in america also found 10-14% of the population was atheist. So why are they quoting someone else's statistics for the number of americans who are atheist at around 1-4%? sounds like they are picking the statistics that will spin the story...

  • MILITANT ATHEISM = one of the most important parts and foundations of our country, not christianity, but the separation of church and state. The founding fathers were secular or deists and christians and other religious groups have oppressed us for too long, 1,2,3,4 I DECLARE A FLAME WAR!

  • 3:18 - Blaming the victim? Classy. Kinda like blaming black people for getting lynched when they started asking for an end to the Jim Crow laws. Not as tasteless, of course, but just as logical.

  • One and three percent? An appalling indictment on a supposedly civilised western country.

  • I love how the local newspaper was called the Progress-Times... Oh the irony!

  • I'm not religious but God damn what a family of whales! Can't say I'd want them in my town either. In fact, I wouldn't want them anywhere near the fucking gene pool. Sorry.

  • @wintercat07 What the fuck is wrong with you?

  • People are making fun of your fucking kids because they're fat hogs you dumb-lard ass bitch, not cause they're atheist. lol

  • What about militant Christianity?

  • Yet Christians in America say that there are persecuted.

  • @CesarManiaX If a christian cannot burn anyone they disagree with at the stake they feel persecuted

  • Dear Atheists,

Wow, posting immature comments like "religion must die". you're NO DIFFERENT than religious people saying "Repent!" or "Nonbelievers will rot in hell" Religion is NOT the problem. It's people like you who prove that even in a completely atheistic society there will still be morons.

    -fellow atheist

  • @wutdaFU3K The statement 'religion must die' is not one I go about saying even if I do believe it. Most atheists have a viewpoint somewhat similar to that in relation to the world surviving. Are you really saying that atheists need to make a better pitch to theists besides calling them dumbasses and saying how braindead they are? That point I think we would agree on

  • Christianity is nothing but the most successful scam in the world's history. It must be eliminated.

  • If you live next door to atheists, warn the neighbors to keep their kids inside.

  • Lol 3 million? Try closer to 45 million.

  • @Babylauncher3000 I found that figure funny also. But I am in a funny place. I believe in a creator but don't beleve in any religion. If you want to know why I have rejected all religions .. well watch this vid again. My God is a very inclusive God that only cares about the love you give.

  • @fdasherv Judging by your comment .. you hate a lot. Get it though YOUR head I never commented to you and could care less what you think or what you want to suck. I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing to your dog now.

  • Comment removed

  • @fdasherv You didn't get it the first time .. you are like some extreamist religious nut imagining things. I don't care what you think ... Really .. I don't .. so any ruffling is in your mind only. You can call me "twat" .. "Sucker" whatever all you want. You can continue to make stuff up in your own mind and pretending I said it and calling me on it .. It only makes you look ill. I am ok with that. Call me whatever you want lol. Your hate is all yours. It belongs to you.

  • @fdasherv You do know .. you sound and act like no Atheist I have ever met. You act like a religious nut. Running around callinmg people names because they have an opoinon etc. Look we both know you are just another mentaly ill troll looking for attention. Your mommy didn;t like you and your daddy left you ... bla bla bla. lol hahah

Bottom line .. I will play with you troll .. I will end up with more views and subscribers .. so go ahead.

  • @ETericET Whoa! You're 12 years old!! OMG, I could be arrested just for talking to you online! I'm deleting my comments, let's forget we ever met.

  • @fdasherv No kidding .. If you are a convicted child molester and you talk to kids on the net .. you can be arrested ..

  • @Babylauncher3000 no religion= 15 percent, thats not specifically atheist

  • @Babylauncher3000 To me, in the bible belt, I have only met one other atheist. We ended up dating because I have NOTHING in common with theists.

  • @Babylauncher3000 january 2007 i wouldnt be surprised if thats what the polls show. i know now polls are showing closer to like 15%?

  • Around 3:20.

What the hell. He's comparing militant atheism to attempts to get separation of church and state.

  • That guy on the interview just blamed Atheists for the discrimination they face. That reminds me of the days when people used to blame blacks for being discriminated against when they tried to stand up for their rights. What's so "militant" about doing the right thing?

  • We must speak their language to destroy them. Language of mythos & superstition. I have studied this. Vengeance is mine! Antichrist is heah!! bichez! I dedicate this post to all the atheists & nonconformists who but up a brave fight & got mowed down by ignorance machine. RIP bros! We are LEGION. Defeat is found in their own Babble book!! Hail Satan Alpha & Omega...mwahaha. Time to filet your souls mwaha! You can go on and Cry me a river!! *puts on the song* Cry me a river I'll call it a flood..

  • @abby495 Either you're a troll or an idiot.

  • @CosmicGrounds Oh really? Did you come up with that mind blowing assesment all by yourself? You must be exhausted. Go nibble on some grass baaa baaa.

  • @abby495 You're an atheist and you're praising Satan and talking about destroying souls. Uh-huh. Just admit you're not a real atheist and probably some runt who has anger towards God. Real atheists, you know, the ones with a brain wouldn't make such a ridiculous sophomoric post.

  • @CosmicGrounds LOL@anger towards God. Naturally, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.Hail Satan! I am your worst nightmare come to life because I know things that only Christians know. They threw pearls to swine LOL The wolf in sheeps clothing mwaaha.LOL@runt. Self deception will be necessary for you to cope.I'll be tapdancing with Jesus at your destruction& listening to rock n roll. Antichrist!...I have arrived lmao! This is the consequence of shoving religion down my throat Bible rapist.

  • @abby495 Yeah, w/e Internet tough-guy. Contradiction, dear chum. Satan can't be your friend if you're tap-dancing with Jesus. Jesus is love for he will not tap-dance on my pseudo destruction. You either need some new material to become more entertaining, or to reach for the medicine cabinet.

  • @CosmicGrounds I'm here for MY entertainment. Spare me the 'understanding' that emanates from a fragmented mind. Bye, slaves. Baa Baaa

  • @abby495 Is that what they call those void of logical and rational thinking these days?

  • @CosmicGrounds Come now. Unfortunately, someone being atheist doesn't necessarily mean they're not foolish, stupid or ignorant.

  • We need to heard sheep to a safe location where they cannot interfere with law making & be made to part with their um. tithes praise Bog.The sky opened up the shepard's staff fell into my hands. My birth was predicted by a warty woman who tried to steal me before I was born. The chair of authority has burned. Jesus was tapdancing and the Satan the atheist was burning the chair of authority. I must spread the good news! Praise Jebus Hail Satan!!

  • @JohnSheridan10001 If your going to make outlandish claims you should probably elaborate. How has atheism killed millions of people. Im sure you going to prove how uneducated you are in your next comment.

  • @JohnSheridan10001 Why would you say that? How has atheism ever hurt a society. Whens the last time you heard of an atheist blowing up an abortion clinic, or killing someone in the name of atheism. You havent, we are more peaceful than the godbots. With all that hate and judgement you must be a christian

  • @MrKGatl Mao and Stalin were atheists who lead holocausts and genocides; however, not in the name of atheism since it's more of a philosophy and not a doctrine. In addition, look around online, even in the media, there are intolerant, bigoted atheists that generalize as well, but there are not as many of them as the many theists both online and offline bullying folks -- bottom line there are both intolerant and hate-mongers on both sides; the atheists aren't the best. The theist aren't the best.

  • @CosmicGrounds You're correct that atheism is not a doctrine but it's also not a philosophy.

  • @MrKGatl So when it boils down it's all about individuals. Sometimes I have the urge to say, "Damn atheists are just evil" when I read several posts on this site; however, I have to remember that in truth not all of them are as close minded and foolish as some of the theists on this site and elsewhere. You may disagree, but I'm just telling from experience.

  • @CosmicGrounds There are going to be fundamentalists in every group. Its just as crazy to say that "atheists deserve to be discriminated against" as it is to say "lock up all the creationists". or

"round up those jews" "white power" ,"republicans are evil", etc... Most people are moderates in whatever they do, but the fundamentalists are the loudest. Like JohnSheridan100001, example of a crazy person

  • We're no longer the least trusted group of people. We lost against Scientology. Well, the number one spot in SOMETHING was nice while it lasted. :P

  • @squirrelly6886 now, atheists are the most discriminated against group in america.

  • @MrKGatl Yay! We're number one again!

  • @JohnSheridan10001 because they dont have your same beliefs? you scrub.

  • @JohnSheridan10001 Christians deserve to be discriminated against in the worst possible way

  • They should have minded their own bizness in the first place. If they don't like people honoring God, tuff. Go to europe.

  • @mrtadreamer Mind their own business? Thats rediculous. America is supposed to be a place of freedom from religion. Your not a very good christian either, Jesus wouldnt tell freethinkers to mind their own business. Do us all a favor, stay in your trailer and dont breed.

  • @MrKGatl Right, I wouldn't be a very good Christan if I didn't speak the truth, including the truth you don't like. Jesus would tell the atheist, "repent or you will likewise perish (in hell). As for religion in America, you are a liar. the First Amennment says"Congress shall make no law that prohibits the FREE EXERCISE THERE OF" religion, so stop trying to rewrite the thing.

  • @mrtadreamer Well Jesus would be ashamed of your hateful and intollerant thoughts, that is if he wasnt a fairy tale. As for you lack of understanding of the Constitution, its obvious that you didnt read the entire thing. The 1st amendment also prohibits the making of any law respecting the establishment of religion, hence we are not a christian nation. It also says that the gov't will not impeded on free speech. As usual your going to cherry pick the parts you like, just like the bible.

  • Hey I read Revelations. The Beast wins. In Matthew somewhere we learn Jesus has a winnowing fork much like Satan.Jesus=Satan wut?Yeah they say to watch more porn.Christianity=childhood. Christains=sheep never grew up they're stuck in garden grazing grass. They don't believe in evolution or improvement so they stay dumb forever. We are LEGION yeah grown ups.I found a shepards staff so I'll be starting my alt ministry FORKITsoon lulz Hail Satan!! Jesus&Satan are lovers LULZ!

  • @JohnSheridan10001 Christians aught to be fed to lions LOLZZZ

  • @abby495 exactly and if they pray to god to save them, then he will, right? Christians should have nothing to fear in this world if prayer works as they say, especially lions.

  • @JohnSheridan10001

Got any particular reasons as to why you think so?

You sound no different than those who persecuted the aforementioned.

  • @JohnSheridan10001

Just like the blacks, Jews, and Muslims right? Get real, you're a monster.

  • I have no invisible means of support and, I am proud of that.

    - an Atheist.

  • How warm and Christian of them!

  • i would have sued that newspaper for defamation!

  • This is so depressing. :( I've never experienced anything quite as drastic as being told to move, but I've gotten the "...but that means you're going to Hell." and "I'll pray for you." and a general sort of avoidance after someone finds out I'm an atheist. One girl I worked with thought I was joking when I told her because she "didn't think atheists really existed." It's the most horrible feeling ever.

  • @diesweetprince I just told in my school "Fuck you all if you don't like it" And went to class like allways. Worked amazingly good LOL.

  • @diesweetprince Don't let it get you down too much,I've been conditioned to hide my atheism from others my whole life, but once you educate yourself and realize that you can fight for something as meaningful as a secular society then struggle becomes something epic rather than tragic. Think of it this way, while alienation can be an awful feeling, at least you're not relying on a skypapa to make you feel better, to exist is to resist

  • Haha, the last minority that can be put down. I'm an atheist and I call bullshit on this: Muslims have it much worse.

  • hahaha mississippi. don't they also stick their dicks in their own siblings there aswell.

  • Why do Christians act so UN-Christ-like? Why are they so hateful and violent towards people who don't agree with them? Maybe they should take off their WWJD bracelets and start reading their bibles, because I think they've missed the main idea.

  • My advice to this family......Move to more liberal state like California or Hawaii.

  • Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

-1st Amendment of the United States Constitution.

Can a Christian please explain to me how this makes the USA a "Christian Nation"?

  • Hate your next door neighbor and your black man but don't forget to say grace. Oh wait those are Christian Americans from the south. Why again didn't we let those bigoted pieces of shit break away in 1860?

  • @MVT44 cus that would of really sucked for me since I'm an atheist and I live in Florida : /

  • @barrius1234. Well maybe you could be given immigration status. My point was that too many Southerners are bigoted fools. At least you don't live in the deep south like Alabama or Louisiana.

  • @MVT44 You start off against undue discrimination then you committ it against people in or from the South.

  • @MVT44 They were tryin' to take their "property" with them.

  • It's that Christian love and tolerance again! :D

My, my! Jesus DID say to disown non-Christians! :)

  • she says "3 million" she is incorrect.....it is more like 30 million.....check your stats!

  • 3:27 THAT IS NOT MILITANT ATHEISM!!!! Militant Atheism would be taking up arms (as in guns) to KILL others because of their beliefs. what this tells me is that the ignorance is everywhere. this only inspires me to stand up for myself, but this causes a lot to hide their Atheism from the world. it's sad.

  • so if christians do an action it is okay and holy, but if an atheist does exactly the same thing, like talk about their beliefs, we're shunned and bitched out.

  • we should no fight against islam, protestants...

we should unite and fuck the atheists, come to croatia and say i fuck the lord or something, your dead...

  • We're at 20%! Hell yeah!

  • It's despicable of a country calling itself "democratic" and "free". It's such a shame that people can't express their beliefs and opionions without being ostracized. It's not a free country according to my opinion! It's a dictatorship! USA is a theological dictatorship, run by cretins, period!!! The good/intelligent/productive people of your country are all atheists, never forget it riffraffs!!!

  • I'm glad I live in britain

  • @SpatialRiftUK

Dude Britain sucks balls in terms of atheism, people get arrested over there for "hate speech" IE questioning a persons religious beliefs.

At least in the US you're protected by the 1st Amendment.

  • @LeeroyFan101 Can't say I've even heard about that happening to anyone in Britain within the last few years.

  • @SpatialRiftUK

Then you're not really following up on the news then its shows up pretty often on news articles that people are getting charged with "hate speech" over there in the UK when they get into heated arguments with theists especially Muslim ones and they claim that they are insulting their religion.

Look up Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang saw that one a few months ago. A couple that got into a religious discussion and then got charged to their surprise.

  • religion must die.

  • @Uteko95 What must die is your satanims religion you belive is called atheism.

  • @kenzeus Dude your the reason why, we get a bad name.

  • @kenzeus

Actually atheism is not a religion. :)

It is just refuse to believe in something without evidence.

    Good day.

  • @Uteko95 Agreed.

  • @Uteko95 Your mother called me like two minutes ago. She told me to tell you to come up from the basement.

  • I am an atheist and I am proud to be one ! I am glad I dont have to live in a country where I would be harrased like the US. Although even worse fate awaits atheists in Iran and Saudi Arabia where they are put to death.

  • @Roger210201 It depends on the area you live, I am an atheist living in the US and I have never found discrimination. Possibly because its the Northwest state I am living in (Washington). Both the Northwest and Northeast, and even the East and West coasts have very high concentrations of atheists.

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix Not being from the US myself I do understand that the country is very diverse in terms of religiosity. I can understand that the West Coast and North East of the country are more tolerant of atheists. It is the same here in Europe. An Atheist in Scandinavia is the norm, whilst in for example Poland it is less common.

But even in Poland there is less hostility than the people in this news report faced.

  • Telling them they are going to hell is 'free speech,' isn't it?

  • @SaudaraLink But it isn't very nice is it?

  • @shandcunt It depends on how it is told, I suppose. Telling someone they have cancer must not be very pleasant either.

I was commenting on the 'hate speech.' If this country is going to have free speech, people will have to hear some things they do not like.

  • Ah boohoo, discrimination of someone for being different????? Color me surprised.

Also, "stared at us like it was a zoo" Yeah the hippo exhibit! Bwuahahahaha

  • This is weird. I read that Colorado was the most atheist state, just ahead of Washington. I would expect more sympathy in that state.

  • @madpaintbalerx Colorado kicks ass. We're also the healthiest .

  • @gangrenouslimb Possibly in AMERICA. That wouldn't be much of an accomplishment ;)

  • @eNSWE It is America and you're right, not very impressive

  • Religions are self-perpetuating mental illness.

  • @bimmjim Yeah, and supported by faith! They still retain a semi-rational mindset and they made faith into a virtue. Think about it, if I bought a 275k home that I've never seen from a girl in a chatroom named "hippyskippy99", what would be said about me if I said,"I have faith that the offer is good". They've never met Jesus, seen heaven, or hell. I find it also convenient that you have to be dead to see if its all true. Its all like a bad con

  • Churches need to be burned down....How do you get rid of toomers? You remove them. They store cancer.....So does religion.

  • @FuckTheWorld623 Ooooh, there's some nice atheistic values for you. You can justify anything when you have no standard of what's right and wrong.

  • @bestvalue, the foundation of one's values really have NOTHING to do with somebody's religious views. People define what's right and wrong, not god or Satan. There are bad Christians and good Atheists, bad Atheists and good Christians. Religion does not run EVERYONE'S life like it does for you. Religious fanatic.

  • @FuckTheWorld623 Actually I don't particularly consider myself religious at all - not in the true definition of the word.

And yes, if you are an atheist, you can define right and wrong for yourself but not for anyone else. If you kill someone, I can tell you objectively that you are wrong. If I kill someone and you think it's wrong, it is just your opinion. That's what you have to accept if there's no God.

  • @FuckTheWorld623 It's also pretty funny to call ME a fanatic when you advocate burning down churches. I'm sure your fellow atheists would agree with me on that and would not want to be associated with you.

  • @bestvalue, I have a big mouth. I go to the extreme, I admit it.

  • @FuckTheWorld623 Apology accepted.

  • My advice for this family: Try moving to Europe. We have freedom of speech here. I hope Americans get this as well one day.

On top of that the food is much better in Europe.

  • @SuperOldWorld We have it... on paper anyway....

  • And no, a rejection of a claim is not a belief. If I said to you, "you must believe in the tooth fairy, or you will be swallowed by a dragon," you'd not believe that I was wrong, but rather, disbelieve what I have said. It does not require belief to reject a claim that goes against what is known. The world is natural: known. There is nothing about the world that is not natural: known (as no contradictary evidence has ever been provided). This is knowledge. It is proven.

  • Atheists are under attack! That's ok. We have a weapon detrimental to the opposing forces, its called intellectualism! lol

  • @strikenetter Ahh but Christians have a far better weapon! Mindless FAITH! Yes with faith one can believe anything! The world was flooded, donkeys can talk, snakes can talk, giants were out there once, the earth was made in 6 days, and any other type of nonsense your particular brand of nonsense wants to believe. For a free guild on Fighting Intellectualism with Mindless Faith please send a check for 24.95 to Pat Robertson of the 700 club! Or Kent Hovind in Prison! The fee is for shipping...hehe

  • @Raezene Textbook ! LOL

  • They were not chased out of their homes because of their beliefs, but rather the insane beliefs of their neighbors.

  • Of course to the new atheists, atheism is not a belief system. It is a non-belief. So how can you attack a non-belief? You can't.

Would you get upset if I mocked you for not believing in fairies? "Ha, ha what an idiot! You don't believe in Zeus or Thor." See? It doesn't work. Atheists must admit they have a belief if they want to use the discrimination and harassment argument.

  • @bestvalue No, actually no. Atheists do not believe there is no god. Atheists reject the claims of theists concerning the existence of god.

  • @jymbo1969 I know that's how atheists like to spin it but most atheists have never even investigated "the claims of theists concerning the existence of god." The evidence for God is really overwhelming. But it's not about the evidence. It's an emotional thing.

Also, I am skeptical of atheists' claims that atheism is not a belief. And negative proposition can be explained positively. "I don't belief God exists" can be expressed as "I believe God does not exist". It's still a belief.

  • @bestvalue But I am in the group I mentioned. Also, no, I doubt that you believe that there is no god. One can not believe in a negative. And no, "I don't believe" is not the same as saying "I believe." Belief is a zero sum equation. Do you believe? Yes? No? And that's it. It most assuredly is not a belief, but a rejection of beliefs. You do not believe the tooth fairy does not exist. Instead, you reject the claim that the tooth fairy exists. It's not a belief.

  • @jymbo1969 Rejecting a claim is still a belief because you replace one belief with another. I don't believe in the tooth fairy and I believe she does not exist. Are you willing to say you reject the claim that you "believe" God does not exist? If so, you're a theist.

You say you reject theists beliefs. But those beliefs are founded on evidence. So tell me . . . what evidence for God have you examined and rejected?

  • @bestvalue I will be happy to tell you. However, the burden of proof is on the one making the claim, which in this case is you. And a lack of belief is not a belief. No matter how many times you try to make atheism a belief, it never will be. To examine the evidence, one needs to look at it. You can not see any evidence on a faith-based website. To deterrmine if what you believe is true, you need to test it. Go to science websites, read philosophy, see what the apologists claim as evidence.

  • @jymbo1969 So what kind of evidence would you require?

  • @bestvalue I would require evidence that encompasses what is already known, and doesn't contradict it. I'd need god to personally come and meet with me. And explain itself for its evil actions. Do you see? But if these things were to come to pass (lol), I would in fact have no recourse, but to believe. No faith-based argument will ever be enough. The universe is real. And to understand it, one needs study it. And that would include god.

  • @jymbo1969 My worldview encompasses the evidence that is already known - and it does it better than evolution does.

I think if God came down and spoke to you personally, you would convince yourself it was a mistake or a dream - especially after all your atheist friends laughed at you when you told them. It's not about the evidence, it's about your heart.

The apostles witnessed the resurrected Jesus and many people laughed at them and eventually killed them.

  • @bestvalue My heart pumps blood, just like yours. Where's your evidence that jeshu existed? Where's your evidence that any of the apostles existed? Where's your evidence that anything from the book of lies is true? All extant evidence contradicts your god concept. Who's right, who's wrong? God is dead, and the corpse stinks like hell.

  • @jymbo1969 Why don't you try this experiment? Have an open mind and ask God if he's really there to reveal himself to you. And perhaps before you get too cocky, you could humble yourself before your creator and ask for forgiveness for YOUR "evil actions." You will see that it will make a huge difference in your life. Then when something amazing happens, don't let anybody talk you out of it.

  • @bestvalue Why don't you try this experiment: Ask god to cure cancer. Get all of your friends together and paray that god would actually do something useful, for a change. I was a true believer, that is until I decided that truth was more important than comfort. I have never sinned. I am good, your god concept is evil. Why should I be an arrogant ass like you? Atheism is humility, xianity is the most flagrant form of arrogance. And you should let someone talk you out of it; it's a lie.

  • @jymbo1969 "I have never sinned"

Oh, really? I guess you have a misconception about what God's idea of sin is. It means missing the mark. Unless you are perfect, you have sinned. Don't feel bad, we all have. It's human nature. Jesus is the only person in history who never sinned.

Not putting God first in your life is a sin. Since you don't believe in God, that would make you a sinner. Not as bad as some, maybe, by man's standards but God sees us all like Hitler.

  • @bestvalue The God of the Bible is a lot like Hitler in that he uses WMD's (plagues, floods), commits genocide, starts wars, and has a chosen people. Jesus never sinned huh? What about his endorsement of slavery? His racism against non-Jews that pops up here and there? Not a sin to God I guess.

  • @Raezene That might prove God is not all-good and loving (I don't agree that it does) but that would not negate the possibility of his existence one iota.

Show me where Jesus ENDORSED slavery or was RACIST against non-Jews. Puleeze!

  • @bestvalue Matthew 15:22-28, He says,"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel", and he even calls the poor woman begging for help a dog! Hmmm, must have been a test but he did it again in Matthew 23:37, He didn't say he wanted to help the world, or humanity, just Israel. In 1 Peter 2:18 18 Slavery is endorsed. Now to be fair its not so much Jesus endorsing as a apostle after his death. Remember though, slavery was EVERYWHERE then.....Jesus never said anything about it once.

  • Oh yeah I found his endorsement, Colossians 3:22 22. Jesus acknowledges slavery and just tells them that by being goods slaves, they are serving him....

  • @Raezene Keep in mind that, at that time, slavery was more like an employer/employee relationship. The masters did not oppress their slaves. It was like helping the poor. Read again the verses regarding "slaves" and mentally insert the word "employees" and it might make more sense.

Also, don't make the mistake of thinking that the Bible condones everything it records. By that logic, then, if a holocaust survivor records his experiences, we could concluded that he agreed with genocide.

  • @bestvalue

Lets try this: Exodus 21:20-21 "If a(n) *employer* beats his male or female *employee* with a rod and the *employee* dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the *employee* gets up after a day or two, since the *employee* is his property."

Yeah, still fucking immoral. I mean . . . really? Employee/Employer relationship? What ARE you talking about?

  • @Reerrpad5515 As an atheist, you forfeit the right to claim anything is immoral as morals are merely your opinion.

  • @bestvalue Actually, I have just as much right to claiming morals as you do, as we're both humans with comparable brain power. Until you prove, and explain how, a sky-fairy has created good and evil(and inserted this into humans), merely claiming that it has just isn't good enough. Without this information, your snide attempts to call me immoral are themselves haughty and immoral.

You prove there is a deity that inserted morals, you can be a dick for the rest of time. Not before.

  • @Reerrpad5515 I was not calling you immoral. Sorry if you took it that way. The point is that if there is no objective moral standard OUTSIDE of humanity then we decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. Which means that in a society where slavery is right who are you (or anybody) to say it isn't? Well, you can say it but it's just your opinion. You can't judge then and say they are immoral. You can only claim something is objectively immoral if God exists.

  • @bestvalue "if there is no objective moral standard OUTSIDE of humanity then we decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong" - There is no "OUTSIDE", therefore I agree.

"in a society where slavery is right who are you (or anybody) to say it isn't?" -You may not be aware, but it was actually your 'objective standards' of morality that got slavery wrong.

"You can only claim something is objectively immoral if God exists." - I reject objective morality as the farce it is.

  • @bestvalue Were do you get off thinking this? there is NOT ONE damn shred of proof to show you guys are more moral at all because big brother is looking over your shoulder.

  • @Raezene Once again, the argument is not and never was that theists are more moral than atheists. I admit that there are many atheists who are probably more moral than many Christians. But as I said to Reer above, it's not about that. It's about OBJECTIVE morality. This is a well-documented argument for the existence of God. You may think slavery is wrong now, but if you lived 150 years ago you probably wouldn't. So is it wrong or not? If there's no God, it's just your opinion.

  • @bestvalue Thank you for the clarification. Your probably right about the fact I would view slavery differently if born 150 years ago. That said all morality aside we can talk about evidence all day, but if God wants us believe in him he should just talk to us. He is all powerful, all knowing, so why not? It would be hard to throw out a Giant face in the sky we can all see, that talks! Sorry but back to morality, why not give us all his morals so no trouble pops up?

  • @Raezene Actually, I suspect you would still have known in your heart that slavery was wrong but you would justify it because other people were doing it. Or you would dehumanize the slaves. That's what Hitler did with the Jews and what they do to fetuses to abort them. (Evolution plays a role in the dehumanizing process.)

God DID give us his morals. It's called your conscience and it's how you know some things are objectively wrong and feel guilty even though you want to do them any way.

  • @bestvalue Knowing my personality I feel I might have been one of the better slave owner's to work , but as slave owner's go that's not saying much. There is nothing divine about the conscience. All animals that live in close social groups have instinctual rules that they follow. If I murder 12 of my fellows, then the likelihood that the group may see me as a threat is increased. I may be myself killed, or exiled and my continued survival is threatened. There is no need to mystify it.

  • @Raezene Sure, that explains how you know is right if it has a survival advantage. But what if you lie to someone and there's no way for them to ever find out. You still know it's wrong to lie and you fell guilty even if it may get you ahead. How do you explain that from an evolutionary perspective?

Actually, you're saying that whatever gives you a survival advantage is right. Maybe you wouldn't kill one of your own tribe but you WOULD kill someone outside your group. Is that right or wrong?

  • @bestvalue Killing outside of their group is exactly what Israelis did. Think about it, everyone that had something they wanted became "evil" squatters on the land God promised them. That way killing them and stealing what belonged to others became ok. Demonizing enemies is nothing new, but I will be fair with the Israelite people and say I doubt others would have done them any different.

  • @bestvalue Guilty may seem like a needless emotion at first glance but it helps keep hostilities in a tribe under control. A entire tribe of people that never admit to any wrong doing will not work as well together as a tribe that truly trusts each other. Some individuals follow this idea easily, others don't because of a self serving nature(sociopaths for example). Religion may have even helped enforce group loyalty by controlling these members. Over time highly loyal groups will win out.

  • @bestvalue Would you be willing to be a "employee" in that kind of situation? I find fault not in the bibles recording of an event, but in its lack of condemnation. It condones these acts through its effort at regulation, and only gives a passing mention to slave rights. I mean honestly "up in a day or two". I can already envision a broken down slave being forced to stand after a day. There is NO evidence that shows a slaves life was any easier there... you just need it to be easier

  • @jymbo1969 "you should let someone talk you out of it; it's a lie"

I could be talked out of it except there is too much evidence.

  • @bestvalue In the bible God is all knowing and perfect, but can't seem to get it right. Adam and Eve were perfect but both sinned (the sin equivalent of my 5 year old getting a soda out of the frig that I said not to get.... KILL THEM!!!). Why was it a surprise to all know superguy, that 2 naive humans might not obey? The only things God seems to care about in the bible are his ego, and others obeying him. The only way this could all happen is if he planned it, which is also illogical.

  • @Raezene You have several assumptions in your post above. I disagree that God "can't seem to get it right," the implication that sin is not serious, that God killed them, that he was surprised by their sin, that God only cares about his ego and others obeying him, and that he planned it.

I'd like to give responses for each point but I feel that you are not really interested in the answers so it might be a waste of time. Can you reassure me that you really want to know what Christians believe?

  • @bestvalue To put it simply it is illogical for a being that knows all to have anything not work the way they intend it too. Sin is a problem because virtually everything is a sin somewhere in the bible. I know God didn't kill them, he let time do it by numbering their days. Then again what can you expect from a guy that has bears kill 42 kids because they mocked a prophet. Everything is a matter of ego to him. Both sets of the 10 commandments detail this fact.

  • I do care about what Christians believe for too reasons. 1. people like me have to watch what your all doing. Its not enough that I am willing to share space with you peacefully, but most of you will force your way of life down my throat at any cost. Writing God into the pledge, changing school texts as in Texas, or all that crap about intelligent design. 2. I do care about what you think and that is why I am so lost as to explain Christians! many good people follow so evil a thing with no proof

  • @Raezene "many good people follow so evil a thing with no proof"

Well, I prefer to avoid the word proof because scientists don't really use that word. You only get PROOF in logic and mathematics. However, we do have evidence. Where did you get the idea that Christians don't have evidence? Christianity is firmly founded on it. Don't believe Dawkins and others who claim faith is belief without evidence. They are wrong.

  • @bestvalue "Christianity is firmly founded on it" - This is news, I thought it was your 'faith'? Lets hear this evidence!

  • @Reerrpad5515 I've been over this and over this on many different videos. If it's news to you that there's evidence for God, then you're not looking very hard. (Which is not surprising - atheists can't find God for the same reason a bank robber can't find a policeman.)

If you're serious (very doubtful by your attitude), download this file:

    mediafire. com /?tuuiljjdunz

It's the first of 4 with all the evidence and logic an unbiased person needs to find God. Let me know when you need part 2.

  • @bestvalue I'm not downloading a random file from someone I just met on youtube. Why don't you give me a few examples of this evidence so I can look it up myself.
