  • skiffle is aweseome!

  • most bands that cover beatles songs just don't have the magic that the beatles had. These guys have it...wish they were a real band

  • @drewsky684 this is a buddy holly song ;)

  • @NyeBua the beatles did a cover of it when they were first getting started. Nowhere boy is a movie about john lennon's life...context

  • !EPIC! song

  • This version is as awesome as the Qzarrymen version! :D

can you tell me in which scene it's in the movie? Or is it only on the soundtrack?

  • @kugia111 its only the on the soundtrack

  • @kugia111 The full performance of "That'll be the Day" is In the deleted scenes section on the British DVD. There is also a brief performance by John's mum of George Formby's "Mother what'll I do now?" (1938), which she introduces as "her party piece". According to other extras on the disk, Anne-Marie Duff (who played Julia) learned to play the banjo before filming started.

  • @kugia111 but john plays a part on the banjo with his mother

  • i thought i heard it somewhere in the movie but i cant remember where

  • @geeluvsIan78 it is when John is at Julia´s home when he is supposed to be at school and Mimi arrives there

  • @kugia111 Part of it is in the scene when Mimi shows up at John's mother's house, because she discovers he's been suspended. He's playing the banjo and singing while his mother plays the piano. :)

  • @kugia111 there isa scene where john only sings a part (with no instruments)where he has been suspended and he and julia are in some kind of 50scafeteria

  • @kugia111 It's on the extras, its a deleted scene.

  • I love this film!! And this song makes me wanna dance all the night!

  • FUCK YA

  • love this version :)
