  • thanks!

  • Learned it :)

  • he going too damn fast

  • @krock8907

  • @lolozuera he never did so i had to try to teach myself. now my new teacher has tought me the basics.

  • thanks so much!

  • if thats the form of Xm who can i know the others? like the one for X9 or what ever..

  • Thanks,

im really trying to make up a solo for this song ive made. I think the pentonic scale may help please pm me if anyone has any solo tabs or any pentonic scale tabs.

  • Tell me the chords that you are using & I will tell you the scale to use.

  • G.Gmodified,D,Dminor

  • Over the G & D chords, try G major pentatonic. This is the same scale as Em pentatonic, except that G becomes the root note.

When you play Dm you have changed the key of the piece temporarily. Over the Dm chord play chord tones or D dorian scale.

In case you don't know D dorian is simpy the Cmajor scale, played from D to D.

Hope this helps.... but a lot also depends on the sound of your piece ie. is it jazzy or rocky, how long are the chord changes held etc.

  • what kinda song?

  • This is good kids, but it is good habit to use the tips of your fingers, not the flats.

  • it's more painful

  • can you play that on all the chords? for example, if you were to play that scale on G it would be G pentatonic scale. right?

  • Correct

  • great clip props from italy

  • I already know this stuff but it might make things a bit clearer to those learning if you show which finger you're using at each fret as it's hard to see on the video.

  • omg dude fucking thank you!

  • that's awesome man!!!

  • great vid man

  • thankss alott!

  • Thanks!

  • And thanks to you!
