The 7th Heaven t-bar opened for the first time in November, 1985 (not '83). I was in the lift line on opening day. So this commercial could've been run anytime between 1980 and 84. I'll ask Hugh Smythe next time I see him :)
This commercial must be pre-1983 (not 1987 as stated) because the voice over claims a vertical rise of 4,000 feet. In 1983, Blackcomb bumped the vertical to over 5,000 feet with the addition of the 7th Heaven T-bar, so the commercial obviously pre-dates that year.
